Thanks for the Masked Singer heads up!
Might as well nab bargains if you can if you know you'll need to buy them anyway
Hope Mr SA is feeling a bit better

Mr SA thinks he has concussion! He says he banged his head over a week ago goodness knows how. Also his back hurts. To say he was seriously ill 12 years ago, had several ops on his brain, gruelling chemo and a stem cell transplant, he can’t bear the slightest discomfort or ache and if he could take a pill for a broken fingernail he would.Apart from the walk to/from the big Mr T which was just over 10,000 steps, I feel like I’ve been quite lazy today and I don’t like the feeling. I’ve done a few surveys which I’ve been a bit lapse with of late. Plus some ironing and tidying up. The weather was awful from lunchtime onwards so not fit to go out again. I need to give myself a kick up the a$$ tomorrow as it’s my last day off work. Dreading going out into the dark and cold on Monday morning and pounding the pavements into the office 😭I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Hope he gets over his hangover concussion soon.
(And my sincere apologies if he genuinely does somehow have concussion)
Gosh you sound terribly lazy with your 10,000 steps, surveys, ironing, and tidying, buck your ideas up 👀😂
Is there any annual leave left you can book to look forward to?4 -
That made me laugh! Not that I'm not sympathetic with him because obviously to him it's not nice, but a broken fingernail...Sun_Addict said:if he could take a pill for a broken fingernail he would.

I’ve got 15 days leave to last me until the end of August. This is after taking 2 weeks off at the end of April to go to Lanzarote for a week. I like to use my leave to meet up with friends or when the weather is good. It won’t be busy at work next week, so once I’ve ticked the box of having logged on in a physical office for a couple of hours I’ll be heading back to my home office. I’m just covering in case anything kicks off really.PennysIntoPounds said:

Sounds good, you'll be grand. Get yer steps in, very little urgent work to do, probably no-one there so you can stick some tunes on, happy days.
I was getting worried that I hadn't heard Mariah on the radio but it came on the other day so the high notes in All I Want For Christmas were traditionally massacred 😂3 -
