Progress not Perfection

We took the dog for a long way round walk to a local high street. We are situated in between two high streets. It meant a fair bit of hill walking so was good exercise for me. The dog enjoyed sniffing different bits of walls and pavements. I was surprised to see the C00p open and C0sta. Mr SA tried to push for lunch in the pub but reminded him we have enough food and drink at home to sink a battleship! 

He’s having his siesta right now so watched Amandaland Christmas special which was funny 🤣 

DS and family are with DIL’s family today. They do Christmas Eve with us, Christmas Day at home and Boxing Day with DIL’s family  which seems a great balance for them. 

DD is back at work tomorrow. I’m back on Monday. 

All the build up then it’s over in a flash. 

Money wise it’s been 2 NSDs in a row.

For me it’s lock the door the door on Christmas Eve and breathe. Nothing else to buy the shops are closed. Such a relief in a way.

This is the 30 day yoga challenge I’ve signed up to. 10 minutes a day, surely I can make time for that.

Not sure the vinyl is in a good enough condition to warrant selling. I discovered a promotion copy only not for selling 12 inch single from the 80s but it was quite faded. I used to frequent a record shop owned by two DJs who saved me the white label discs. I have a lot of non mainstream stuff from the 80s.

Afternoon all. Can’t get my head around it’s Saturday! 

Mr SA woke up feeling unwell which isn’t unusual for him to be honest. He’d only been up 10 minutes and he was already looking forward to his post lunch siesta. He seems to be more confused than normal. 

We went to the big Mr T. I only needed milk, bread rolls and mushrooms - £64.99 later 🫣

However I stocked up on heavily reduced Christmas packs of dog/cat food/treats. Also nabbed a couple more crates of Mr SA’s beer before it goes back up to full price. Shouldn’t need to buy any beer, dog/cat food/treats for a good while. 

Mr SA went back to bed after his lunch and is still asleep now. 

DD left for work before he got up and has just come home to him being back in bed having never known he got up briefly 🤣

Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger with potato wedges and salad. Rose Prosecco chilling for tonight. It’ll be strange without Strictly ☹️ but at least The Masked Singer is back next week 🙂

We need a top up on beer before Monday. Might send Mr RS tomorrow morning to get some before the price goes up again!

I hope Mr SA wakes up feeling better. Christmas can be quite a pressurised time so perhaps he's reacting to that.
