Look at these little devils caught in the act 😆

We've had our peanut feeders attacked overnight, either by squirrels or jackdaws we think. The feeders have been emptied & are on the ground in the mornings. However, this week one of the feeders vanished altogether so we started bringing them in at night. So last night they took a fatball feeder!

If you normally feed your dog with a bowl on the floor, you may want to try raising it up. I think lowering their head down makes them feel sick & unsteady but keeping the head up so they can look ahead certainly helped with my dog. You could put the bowl on the bottom stair or a box maybe.

Ooh thank you, I’ll try that. Having said that it didn’t stop her stealing the remains of the cat’s food which I’d forgotten to pick up from the floor.

The JL Christmas event was brilliant and so worth the £10 charge as it included a glass of Prosecco. Then they brought out huge mince pies, Bendicks chocolates and something else edible that I didn’t catch what it was. I passed on the food but enjoyed the Prosecco. Afterwards you could redeem the £10 cost on a purchase. It was very enjoyable so I would recommend it.  I bought some new baubles as I recall thinking last year ours were looking a bit past their best, a new wreath as ours is falling to bits, a candle holder and a tree decoration. I picked up a few tips from the stylists so it was worthwhile going.

The city centre was SO busy 😱 I’m pleased for them I suppose because it was like Saturdays used to be. One of the women I got chatting to at the event said she struggled to find a parking space it was so full.

Waited ages for a bus home. One minute it said due in 3 minutes which changed to 8 minutes then 15 😞 This is why I usually walk everywhere, I can cover a lot of ground in 15 minutes.

Right I’d better crack on with dinner.

I took DD to a local shopping city and that got very busy very quickly.

Sounds like a lovely day, glad you enjoyed it. My local JL is at a very busy massive shopping centre that usually holds up the motorways and all roads around it.

Have a lovely evening with your prosecco and strictly.
