Is there any scope in the retirement plans for moving somewhere you could both have a separate bedroom and bathroom?0 -
Scooter lights do put an extra drain on the battery as do hills and weight. I notice mine is slower when I add a load of shopping. If you run the lights your range is drastically cut. The problem is batteries are heavy and to put higher capacity ones in scooters would cut the range and the weight they can cope with. It is always going to be a compromise and as scooters are mainly used in the daytime the range and the weight they can carry is always going to be the priority.2
