Glad the dog is in the clear.
And that the scooter is being checked.
Less so that you had to push it and that Mr SA is being an eejit.
Is there any scope in the retirement plans for moving somewhere you could both have a separate bedroom and bathroom?

Scooter lights do put an extra drain on the battery as do hills and weight. I notice mine is slower when I add a load of shopping. If you run the lights your range is drastically cut. The problem is batteries are heavy and to put higher capacity ones in scooters would cut the range and the weight they can cope with. It is always going to be a compromise and as scooters are mainly used in the daytime the range and the weight they can carry is always going to be the priority.

DS and family are safely ensconced in their weekend retreat. He’s sent me some photos and it looks lovely.

The rain is still torrential here, even the young cat doesn’t want to go out.

Forgot to say I’ve downloaded a free meditation app called Medito. It looks great, loads of content, I’ve done a 5 minute meditation in Spanish that I mostly understood. I’m trying to get more into meditation so will see how it goes.

Bad here too. My garden furntiure cover has come off twice. The rabbits use it as shelter so had to put them in their hutch tonight. (They do have two hutches, but they prefer this garden cover and would rather get wet and blown away than sit in a warm hutch).

I would rather them be safe and dry and enclosed though than facing this weather. Glad DS made it ok. Hope he has a lovely time.
