    Thank you both.

Mr SA further testing my patience tonight by dropping his plate on the floor, breaking the cottage pie pot and splattering the freshly steam scrubbed floor with gravy 😖 There was a trail of gravy going right through to the kitchen. Not his fault apparently 😐

Sending a few calming vibes SA

Was this before or after he ate the cottage pie ? - hopefully after and you didn't have to fix dinner 2.0 as well.

With the milk, I'd up your weekly order a bit as it does last for ages and then tell them to buy it if that runs out as you're fed up, simple as that. Do they start using less and less so they aren't the one who either puts an empty bottle back or can't deny it ran out?? Having had teenage boys not too long ago, I know some of the tricks. I shop for my mum and I keep a couple of long life milk cartons in for emergencies as I'm not doing a 50 mile trip to pick up milk ! She actually likes it though and not many do.

Tell DD to check before she goes to work and that she is to bring some home as necessary, or go without!! I bet the lesson will soon be learnt.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Does your DD no longer work for a supermarket? Bringing milk home when supplies are getting low should be a no-brainer. And if Mr SA can visit the charity shop, can he not go out for a pint of milk if you need it? I'd leave it next time it runs out, unless you'd already planned a supermarket visit. The penny will soon drop that it doesn't say 'Sole milk fetcher' across your forehead.

Yes she does still work at Mr M. I intended to message her to pick one up but Mr SA thought we could combine a trip to the shop with a dog walk. Still annoying though when we went to the big Mr T on Saturday and could've picked on up then. I usually order milk with the online shop.

You have more patience than me on the milk - I would be adopting a response of "Oh, have we? Nobody mentioned and of course I wouldn't notice" the next time it runs out - might underline the fact that people need to be at least a little proactive in one way or another.

Just spotted your post about the dog too - poor little thing, hopefully the vet visit will sort her out.
