My patio I finally swept last weekend is covered in next door's leaves again!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I live next door to a wood... I feel your pain re. the leaves. Mine are being turned into leaf mould or compost.1
-
I've swept up six buckets of compacted leaves off the road and our path - those in the grass will have to wait or moulder. I don't like to remove all that gold, but like greenbee, I'm turning them to compost. Gold of another type.
It's also good exercise.

We keep being reminded in our local area to leave leaves (for wildlife) but there’s only so many you can leave before they become a nuisance.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I leave the leaves (☺️) on borders and on the wild patch at the front and in the orchard. They get mowed with the lawn, and taken off areas where I need to to things. My garden is NOT tidy! I'm sure there is plenty of wildlife in the mess!3

The leaves are still there. No point sweeping them up while they’re falling so fast.Took the dog on the park this morning and did another litter pick. There was a football match on so we were confined to the bottom bit of the park. The ball narrowly missed hitting Mr SA as he passed the pitch on his scooter 😬
I bought 5 bags of bird seed and nuts for the squirrels yesterday which in theory should last for the rest of the month. Mr SA put the whole lot out 😖 He did this last month and the food only lasted a couple of days so I specifically asked him to eke it out this time. I managed to retrieve a good amount of it but still annoyed with him. He filled an empty hanging basket with the lot. Goodness knows why!!
It was set to be a NSD until I realised there was no milk. Annoying because no one tells me it’s running low and I don’t use it. I only noticed because I was wiping the fridge out. I was tempted not to bother replacing it.
Managed to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean while Mr SA was having his afternoon nap. All the floors have been steam scrubbed too. Finally got around to doing a job that’s been on my to do list for about 7 years - set the kitchen radio back on to the WiFi so I can listen to internet radio stations. It came off the WiFi when we had the kitchen done and I never got round to sorting it until today.Tonight’s dinner is gunpowder spice roast cauliflower and red lentil curry. I’ve also made a batch of butternut squash, apple and ginger soup for work lunches. Now off to have a relaxing soak in the bath with both face and hair masks.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Brilliant radio work, I need to figure out how to do mine after *mumble* years
I really don't know why you do buy milk, DD and Mr SA are both quite capable of getting it
How very annoying about the bird feed, glad you were able to salvage some of it
Hope you've had a lovely soak3 -
I'm with PiP. If Mr SA can go to the CS unattended, he can buy milk. And DD can pick it up on her way home from work. If they want stuff you don't use, then I vote make them get it themselves. You do enough for them/because of them as it is.5
