Hope you're having a lovely time and don't get too much hassle from Mr SA.
Great that the build work can be done before Christmas 🥂2 -
Thank you all. I really enjoyed my lunch out. Mr SA was a bit off about it but it’s tough because he’s not stopping me from meeting my friends. The Ivy was amazing. I can’t believe how busy it was. They gave us our own room. I also can’t believe how expensive the drinks were 😱 You couldn’t afford to get drunk in there 😆 The food was gorgeous and the service was top notch, couldn’t fault it.I’ve left my laptop in my locker for the weekend. I don’t like doing this but didn’t want to cart it to the restaurant.Exercise wise still managed over 10,000 steps despite getting the bus as it’s a good walk from my house to the bus stop and another hike from the bus stop in the city centre to work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Sounds lush, was it one of the Thai ones or varied menu?
As you say, Mr SA can like it or lump it!1 -
Varied menu. This was my food. Pumpkin soup for starters and bang bang aubergine for mains, the white stuff was mooli. There was also a bowl of rice with it. Really delicious.PennysIntoPounds said:Sounds lush, was it one of the Thai ones or varied menu?

Happy Saturday 🥂
Have been to the big Mr T this morning. I had a 15% off loo rolls coupon so stocked up on the ones I like. Also bought a long jumper to go over leggings 25% off.On the way home we noticed a wheelchair for sale outside the charity shop for £45 so bought it as it’s on the list of need to buys. It’s in excellent condition. Mr SA has been playing with it like a new toy. He seems to think it can replace his scooter and will make it easier to get about. What he hasn’t thought about is that it will be me pushing him in it. Yes the wheelchair is lightweight but he isn’t! It will be handy to have if we go somewhere on the bus or train but there’s no way I can push him about locally on the hills so he can get that idea out of his head.Today’s exercise has been walking to/from Mr T.Tonight’s dinner is beetroot burger from freezer stocks with sweet potato wedges and salad.Rose Prosecco is the fridge ready for Strictly 💃🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Blooming leaves 🍁 I spent ages sweeping them up last weekend and look at them all. They’re falling faster than I can clear them, I’ve even got some in the house 🤣

That's a lovely acer. I like the leaves: they bring extra sunshine at a time of year when we are beginning to feel the need of it. I'm going to compost what I can catch of our leaf fall. Send out a search party if I'm not back by Christmas.
I seem to remember someone having an attachable motor for a custom-built wheelchair (the person was unable to operate controls but it was a bit of a bus to push though the occupant was lightweight). I wonder if there's similar for a small chair?
On the other hand, perhaps it's time to start telling him he will be arm wrestling champion with those marvellous muscles.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
