I have been asked to verify my ID with PA too - and my passport is currently out of date and I don't want to renew it until next year when I know I have a trip planned. I am going back and forth with them trying to agree another form as I don't drive.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Yep - I think a lot of us have been asked about verifying ID - Vix posted some useful information on it in my diary when I mentioned it on there a few days back. I'd sooner not do it, but in reality I probably will.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Afternoon all
I guess PA want us to verify our identify to prevent scammers and to prove we're real humans.
Worked in the office this morning for 3 hours then came home to finish up. Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. First free item of the month to pick up next time (sweet bakery treat).
Checked my Pr1nc1pal1ty accounts and noticed they've opened me a new 6 months saver instead of funding the one I'd opened a couple of weeks ago so closed the unfunded one. Not sure I can have 2 with the same issue number open at the same time. I wanted to open a new 12 months one but not sure whether I could get a better interest rate. I felt like I was getting mixed up with all the P accounts. I've now got 2 x 6 months savers and 1 x Christmas saver. Then a regular saver with NW and a Christmas saver with YBS. Oh my days no wonder I'm getting mixed up 🤣
The builder will be here later so I should know how much the works will cost in the next few days. He's quoting for a new window in my office, loft ladder and hatch and extractor fan in the bathroom. Once I have a date for the works I need to contact the painter about painting my office, hall, stairs and landing, bathroom ceiling and kitchen. Mr SA has been warned not to ask silly questions or ask him about work he knows he doesn't do.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, strength training at lunchtime and an aerobics type class tonight. Thankfully I feel back to normal today.
Tonight's dinner is risotto, got some mushrooms and squash to use up.
There's a park volunteers group meeting tonight but I'm giving this one a miss.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Egoberry said:I got an email from PA today saying to be careful of phishing scams on the platform - "We have recently seen a rise in "phishing" attempts whereby someone pretends to be a trusted organisation and runs studies to try to gather personal or sensitive information from participants, such as copies of IDs, phone numbers and personal email addresses."
So maybe double check that it's legit!

Morning all, happy Friday.
I'm in the office today but finishing at 12 to meet my friends for a pre-drink before we go for our lunch out.
Typically Mr SA was wide awake and watching my every move while I was getting ready. He doesn't know yet I'm meeting my friends but I think he suspected something as I'm wearing the dress I wore for DS's wedding. It won't affect him in the least, he'll still get his dinner on time tonight! I can't tell you how trapped this makes me feel.
I did the verification thing with PA yesterday and it's let me back in to take surveys.
The builder came round yesterday afternoon and he can do the work before Christmas which is great.
I got an all day bus ticket as there's no way I'm walking to/from work in the boots that go with my dress. It was bad enough walking to/from the bus stop!
Tonight's dinner (if I'm hungry after the lunch) is a portion of the chickpea stew type thing I made on Wednesday.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I hope you have a lovely afternoon with your friends.
It must be so hard that he monitors you so closely. I am sorry that your life is like this.
