Hope your dog can get a vet appointment. Agree that does sound like an infection.

I hope all is ok with your dog. It is always worrying but even more so as they get older. Thinking of you. X2

The vet is pretty certain the dog has Idiopathic Vestibular Disease which is common in older dogs and similar to Vertigo in humans. She’s given her an anti nausea injection. I’ve to take her back on Thursday and if there’s no improvement she’ll have to go on a course of antibiotics as the alternative diagnosis is a middle ear infection. Coincidentally a friend’s dog had the same thing a few weeks ago and he was back to normal in a few days. The dog didn’t have a temperature after all despite feeling hot.On the way back Mr SA’s scooter started to lose power despite being on charge overnight. I had to give it a push up the hill, fortunately this wasn’t as steep as the one he got stuck on last week. He’s going to call the scooter place tomorrow to check the battery.I’ve done almost 30,000 steps today and looking forward to jumping in the bath shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Hope doggie recovers quickly. How annoying about the scooter!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Morning all.
The dog hasn't been sick which is a good sign the injection worked. She's been out to do her business and has eaten a small amount. She's still wobbly, walking around like a drunken sailor on shore leave, but that's normal for this condition. She needs to be kept quiet with no bright lights to disorientate her. I'm defrosting some chicken to cook for her later as the advice is to give her light palatable food.
WFH today thank goodness.
Attempted a live yoga class this morning but kept being disturbed by having to faff about with the dog so it wasn't as relaxing as it should have been. We're not going to attempt to take her on the park while she's so wobbly, it wouldn't be fair on her. I'm going to do a Japanese Power Walking workout and a full body tone from YT later. No Zumba tonight as the instructor is still poorly 😞
Mr M delivery arrived at 6.30 this morning.
Quick mid-week finance check done and cc balance paid off.
The laundry basket is full to the brim yet again, no way that will dry outside in this weather so will have to resort to the heated airer and possibly the TD for the bedding. Mr SA generates SO much washing and all his clothes are big and heavy.
Tonight's dinner is a use up what's in stock meal so I'm making the smoked basa with leek, cauliflower and lentil rice again as it's a favourite of mine.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
