Thank you all and thank you for the link @Baileys_Babe. DD has always been different and this would explain everything. She is going to be fast-tracked for diagnosis but any medication may take time to come through. She's already on workplace adjustments for her anxiety and epilepsy. I have a voluntary role at work and am in regular contact with staff networks, one of which is neurodiversity and it's surprising how many women are autistic.
Anyway, happy Thursday.
WFH again today, hopefully the wi-fi won't play up today as I'm notetaking in a meeting later.
DD has gone to work so will take the opportunity to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean.
Finished my current book this morning and have picked out a new one to start.
Had to let the dog out at 1am and noticed the young cat had pooped in my office! So there I was clearing it up at that unearthly hour. The dog hardly ate anything yesterday, not even the chicken. I'm hoping she's feeling more herself today otherwise I might have to take her to the vet. She took her tablet ok this morning so hopefully her appetite is coming back.
Today's exercise is at meditate and stretch session from the FitOn app, dog walking, a lunchtime strength training class and Zumba tonight.
Making a batch of veg chilli for tonight's dinner, it's so handy to have a stock in the freezer for future meals. I really enjoyed the tempeh last night and think I prefer it to tofu.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Funny you mention tempeh...I marinated some then fried it for a cooked breakfast with mushrooms, beans and tomatoes. Bacon it isn't, but I could get used to it...
I was just thinking of a cat before your half a mouse story...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

That’s another working week done.Super busy at work today, IT systems playing up and making what should be a quick job a total nightmare, so frustrating 😖
Dropped off 2 books at the work book swap and resisted the temptation to pick any up.
Finished just after lunch and popped into White Stuff to look at dresses for DS’s wedding. They were all too long so asked about petite sizing and was directed to upstairs to the smallest selection of petite dresses ever 😞 Online it is then.
Also stopped off at Lid! Mr SA met me to take the shopping on his scooter. Took advantage of Spanish week and picked up 2 bags of paella rice and 2 jars of chickpeas.Got home and did a FitOn yoga session, then a load of ironing before getting in the bath.Pleased to report the dog is now back to normal and eating well 🥳 I get so worried about her when she’s not herself now she’s older.Today’s exercise has been walking to/from work 19,644 steps (so tempted to get that up to 20,000 😆) plus the yoga session.Tonight’s dinner was smoked basa with lentil rice, cauliflower, green beans, leeks and spinach.Need to be up sharp tomorrow as I’ve booked onto an 8am FitOn yoga session followed by a bonus live Zumba session on my WW app at 8.30. Then we are off to the big Mr T as Mr SA wants to look at clothes with 25% off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Ah so glad the dog is eating well again, pet family members are such a worry aren't they.
Good that Mr SA wants to look at bargainous clothes at least, might they have some components of his wedding outfit?
Annoying about White Stuff, and they wonder why the high street is in decline. Such a shame. Hope you find something suitable soon. Have you looked on vinted?https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Glad the dog is ok, I think ours is a similar age (13) and it is so worrying when things don't seem right."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Have you looked on Jolie mo| for dresses. My friend suggested this webpage when I was struggling to find a dress. You can get some good bargains in their sales. Im going on a cruise next year and will be buying a couple of dresses from their website.
So pleased your dog has improved, we sadly lost our little one last month he was 14, a good age but still hurts.
Have a good weekend.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003 -
