Progress not Perfection

No more searching for a dress I found the perfect one this morning £4 from the charity shop. It’s exactly what I was looking for and the perfect fit and length. It looks great with my dusty pink biker jacket. I hadn’t intended this dress to be for the wedding, I just liked it, but as soon as I tried it on I knew it was perfect. Saved me a fair bit of money too.Didn’t find anything for Mr SA in Mr T but I’ve shown him some trousers and a smart jumper with a collar on the MnS website and he’s happy to skip the trawling around the city centre and order online as he really likes them.Flicked through the new PON slow cooker book in Mr T but far too many meat recipes so not for me.In other good charity shop finds, Mr SA bought a pair of suede boots for £6 they look brand new. We also bought a cabin bag for him for next time we go away. Then he spotted a man bag he liked for £5 despite buying one from the same shop yesterday that was ‘the best bag he’s ever had’.Today’s exercise was Yogilates followed by Zumba followed by walking to/from the big Mr T.Trying a new recipe tonight from a daily vegan recipe email I get - Mexican bean burgers. If they’re nice I’ll share a link to the recipe.Looking forward to putting my feet up with Strictly and Prosecco 🥂💃I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Another weekend almost done 😭 Where did it go. Thought it was Monday when I woke up this morning so a nice surprise to find out it wasn’t.The dog went downhill a bit this morning then perked up and wanted to go on the park. She’s still not eating much but is eating so that’s a bonus.A NSD so hit my target of 8 for the month.Today’s exercise has been dog walking and generally pottering about, done over my minimum 10k steps anyway.Made a batch of roast tomato and basil soup from greenhouse stocks as have loads of tomatoes and basil. Also a batch of split pea curry from a PON book recipe.Brought back some beach grass pods from Ibiza so have opened them and planted them in the greenhouse. They might not come to anything but worth a try.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
