I am not trying to tell you what to do but a vet appointment might be worth while (for the dog not you) just to check there is nothing untoward going on.

    Afternoon all.

Pleased to report the dog has vastly improved since my last post and is eating normally. She looks so much better too. She threw up late afternoon and starting improving straight after that. I think she felt sick and that's why she wasn't eating, she kept heaving but nothing was happening. She cleared her food bowl straight afterwards and was a lot livelier. I was prepared to WFH so I could get her a vet appointment if need be. Obviously if it starts up again it will have to be a trip to the vet. She has always had a delicate digestive system but thankfully it doesn't flare up like this that often.

Worked in the office until lunchtime then back home to finish up. Mr SA met me at Lid! to take my shopping.

Usual Monday finance check done and cc balance cleared.

    Free coffee picked up.

Mr SA finally managed to catch the next door neighbour to ask him how much we owe him for the trellis and he doesn't want the money for it which is very good of him. He's having his chimney repaired so is getting some scaffolding up and Mr SA asked him to fit us a bird cowl while he's up there. I've made it clear to the neighbour that we'll give him the money for it. Also while he's up there he's taking down our old aerial and satellite dish. I'm thinking about getting him a few bottles of beer to say thank you, I've noticed from his bottle bank he likes fancy beers.

Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and a live strength training class tonight.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of lightly dusted yellowfin sole from freezer stocks with steamed veg from fridge stocks.

The Mexican beanburgers I made on Saturday were really tasty although they fell apart slightly they stayed together fairly well on the whole.

The yellow split pea and sweet potato curry I made last night was absolutely gorgeous, can highly recommend.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    I love this! :D

Glad to hear your dog is eating properly again. It's so worrying when they aren't 'right'.

Off to look up that split pea and sweet potato curry you've so kindly provided the link for! (Edited to add: you have to buy the book so I found something with the a similar title but possibly variations, will have to see if it works. I'm glad I read it through before starting as the instruction to soak the yellow split peas overnight is helpfully added half way through the cooking instructions! :D )
