Oooh, that's a good discount on White Stuff. One of the few shops we have left in our town so I might pop in next time I am out & about. Hope you find a nice wedding outfit.

I don't really understand what this 'leftover prosecco' is but don't go spending unnecessary money SA, nowt wrong with a teaspoon!
Could you just give Mr SA cash and not go with him?! Though love @Blackcats idea of hurrying him up with the lure of pub 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

I don't know much about dogs but is it possible the recipe of the usual dog food has been changed?
Some shops have a quiet hour, often early in the day, for those who don't cope well with crowds. There's also that bit of browsing time early on a Sunday before the till open. Would either of those ease the pain of shopping for Mr SA's outfit? Also, browsing online then trying on a select few in the shop might reduce the time out of the house?
And of course, pub/coffee/sausage roll if you've finished by lunchtime!

I always take Mr SA shopping as early as possible to avoid the worst of the crowds. I'm currently looking online in the hopes that will save a trip.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Afternoon all.
WFH today. Been having intermittent issues with my wifi today, have had to reboot the router twice. So annoying when you have things to do.
The dog still won't eat her food but is eating other things. She wolfed down her chicken last night so I've bought a pack of chicken and am cooking it in the slow cooker in plain water. I think it's the food rather than the dog as she seems ok in herself.
Had to remove half a mouse from the patio this morning which explains what the red splodge I found in the dining room was - the other half 🤢
Not a NSD as Mr SA announced he'd run out of the IBS tablets so had to go to the local shops after taking the dog on the park.
DD announced that the GP thinks she's autistic so she has a massive long form to fill in. She was quizzing me on her behaviour as a child and she always was a bit different. I've suspected she might be for some time as she can be very anti social at times and she always eats the same food. She's had everything out of the cupboard under the stairs looking for old school reports that mentioned her behaviour. She got a bit touchy saying if I thought there was something amiss when she was a child why didn't I do anything about it. I told her autism etc wasn't a thing back then and it's only now that some adults are finding out they have it. Coincidently at the weekend when DS visited we were discussing DGS's autism and he said he was told it runs in families and was there anyone in the family with it. I said I wouldn't be surprised if DD had it - and now it looks as though she might have.
Today's exercise has been yoga first thing, dog walking, walking to/from the shops and it's Zumba tonight.
I've now been able to view my payslip and I've got a decent chunk of back pay so I'm pleased about that as it was more than I was expecting. Some of it will be earmarked for new trainers and my trip out with friends next month.
Did my usual mid week finance check and cleared the cc balance.
I'm trying something new for tonight's dinner - tempeh, I bought it a while ago and kept forgetting I'd got it. Making a sticky tempeh stir fry from the Good Food app.

Historically autism in females was diagnosed less as most autistic females don't present with the same stereotypical traits as males. Totally agree. They are more able to mask it and there is so much research now around how it presents differently in girls and how so many were missed, even ones who went to be assessed.
My DD would have been missed if I didn't work in the sector and read all the research. Her school were adamant she wasn't.
Hope if she decides to get assessed, or not, she perhaps understands herself more.September 2017 Debt = £25330

If I remember rightly when autism first came to public attention it was thought it did not affect girls at all. Time and research have proved this wrong.3

Another one weighing in on autism. Both my granddaughters are on the spectrum and my eldest DD has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD as an adult. I suspect DH may also be ADHD which follows as there is a strong genetic link. Your DD is probably a similar age to mine and yes as you say it was not such a thing when they were children and females particularly mask often to the detriment of their mental health.
My DD has managed to get work dispensations because of her ADHD and has said she is pleased she got the diagnosis as it makes sense now why she always felt different. She is sociable but needs lots of downtime and struggles with focus sometimes. I think it is worth your DD pursuing a diagnosis if she feels it might be helpful to her and help her understand herself a bit better. Her employer may also make adjustments for her if necessary.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
