I've got the scales that measure your visceral fat, protein etc via an app. I've had them since I started my weight loss journey last summer and have found them very useful. They're not absolutely accurate (my PT is very sceptical about how they can measure certain categories!) and nothing should be written in stone, but they give a good indication of where I am with the various health indicators, plus prove a great psychological boost as I watch my visceral fat, body fat, etc go down and my muscle mass go up! I was a bit obsessed with them at first, but now I'm just happy to use them for my once a week weigh in and check the stats then. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I can get to about day 4or 5 with doing exercise mainly Pilates or yoga on Y tube then I fizzle out. Then start again about 2 weeks later. Now I did join the local leisure centre about 5 weeks ago just for the swimming and aim to do about 2 or 3 sessions a week and swim for 30 mins each session. So far I have managed to keep this up. So tonight will start with Pilates again and aim for about 15 mins per night at least. The thing is I love the stretching videos and always feel better after them, so don’t know why I don’t carry it on.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

@Seasidegal58 yes I wondered how scales could tell all this from my feet 🤣 The main I wanted was some accurate scales as my old ones gave 3 different weights while I was standing on them. We have a machine at work that does all the health checks including blood pressure but you can never get into the room where it’s kept as it’s so popular. Apparently it’s brutal and one bloke came out saying technically he should’ve died two weeks ago 🤣
@amber03 I’m the same with challenges, I start off all determined then forget I’m doing them. I’m good at doing the live classes it’s just the ones I can do anytime. Swimming and Pilates sounds like a great combination.Anyway I did today’s 5 minutes yoga challenge and a 10 minutes strength training session. Then 2 meal planning workshops followed by a live 30 minutes strength training session. Plus 21,275 steps.Forgot to say I did my Monday finance check and cleared the cc balance earlier. Came in just under budget for last week’s groceries. I’m finding it easier to stick to a weekly budget for groceries, it makes me more mindful of what I’m spending and whether whatever I’m thinking of buying can wait another week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I used the Lakel4nd bottle stoppers to keep my 'left over' Prosecco at its peak the next day. They work really well for a few years till the rubber goes. About £5 for two if you wait for a free delivery offer. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++
