I've got the scales that measure your visceral fat, protein etc via an app. I've had them since I started my weight loss journey last summer and have found them very useful. They're not absolutely accurate (my PT is very sceptical about how they can measure certain categories!) and nothing should be written in stone, but they give a good indication of where I am with the various health indicators, plus prove a great psychological boost as I watch my visceral fat, body fat, etc go down and my muscle mass go up! I was a bit obsessed with them at first, but now I'm just happy to use them for my once a week weigh in and check the stats then. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I can get to about day 4or 5 with doing exercise mainly Pilates or yoga on Y tube then I fizzle out. Then start again about 2 weeks later. Now I did join the local leisure centre about 5 weeks ago just for the swimming and aim to do about 2 or 3 sessions a week and swim for 30 mins each session. So far I have managed to keep this up. So tonight will start with Pilates again and aim for about 15 mins per night at least. The thing is I love the stretching videos and always feel better after them, so don’t know why I don’t carry it on.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

@Seasidegal58 yes I wondered how scales could tell all this from my feet 🤣 The main I wanted was some accurate scales as my old ones gave 3 different weights while I was standing on them. We have a machine at work that does all the health checks including blood pressure but you can never get into the room where it’s kept as it’s so popular. Apparently it’s brutal and one bloke came out saying technically he should’ve died two weeks ago 🤣
@amber03 I’m the same with challenges, I start off all determined then forget I’m doing them. I’m good at doing the live classes it’s just the ones I can do anytime. Swimming and Pilates sounds like a great combination.Anyway I did today’s 5 minutes yoga challenge and a 10 minutes strength training session. Then 2 meal planning workshops followed by a live 30 minutes strength training session. Plus 21,275 steps.Forgot to say I did my Monday finance check and cleared the cc balance earlier. Came in just under budget for last week’s groceries. I’m finding it easier to stick to a weekly budget for groceries, it makes me more mindful of what I’m spending and whether whatever I’m thinking of buying can wait another week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I used the Lakel4nd bottle stoppers to keep my 'left over' Prosecco at its peak the next day. They work really well for a few years till the rubber goes. About £5 for two if you wait for a free delivery offer. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Someone bought me a silver champagne stopper for my 25th. One of my fave pressies and a niece has already put 'first dibs' on it when I die!!!!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Happy Tuesday all.
Worked in the office until 11 then came home to finish up. I'd given myself a headache concentrating too much faffing about with a computer system I'm unfamiliar with and was desperate to get away from it and clear my head.
I stopped at Lid! on the way home for some cottage cheese I forgot to pick up yesterday. I've recently got back into eating cottage cheese. I used to practically live on it when I was a teenager. I buy the cheap plan low fat one and add my own chopped up spring onions, herbs, etc and it's really nice.
The dog seems a bit off today, not eating her food, although she ate a slice of ham just not her dog food. She's been a bit picky with food for a couple of days. I'm defrosting her a piece of chicken to cook for her tonight. She used to get these episodes quite a bit when she was younger, she even had tests at one stage but nothing came up. I'll keep an eye on her anyway.
The veg box arrived at 6am so got that in before I set out for work. Mr M delivery is due in the next hour.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, a bonus strength training session this lunchtime and it's resistance bands tonight. I did another short mindfulness session before I left for work so I just need to do today's short yoga session now.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veg lasagne from freezer stocks - well I hope it's lasagne it was hard to tell! I'll make a nice salad to go with it. I really should label my batch cooking and not just think I'll remember what's in there.
One week to go to payday, payslip isn't ready to view yet. Will have the pay rise backdated to June, hoping I'll come out with enough extra to buy myself a decent pair of water resistance trainers to walk to work in over the coming months.
On the way home from work I noticed Wh!te Stuff are doing 20% off. I saw a few nice dresses that would be ideal for DS's wedding so will investigate further on Friday when I have more time. I want a dress with long sleeves as the ceremony is outside and it needs to be something I can wear again. Mr SA is still hassling me to death about when are we going into town to buy him some new clothes and an outfit for the wedding. Absolutely dreading it as he's a nightmare to shop with especially if it's busy and he's banging into everything on his scooter.

Hope that you find the right dress in White Stuff and then when you are sorted you can try and get something for MrSA. I can see why you are dreading going shopping with him but I suppose needs must and maybe you can reward yourselves with a pub lunch when the outfit has been purchased. The lure of the pub might speed up the shopping.2
