That’s Tuesday done.Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up at home. Was lovely to walk without the heavy backpack on. No more office days until Friday now 🙂
Picked up my free weekly coffee.Dropped off the book I’ve just finished reading at the work book swap.Stopped at Lid! on the way home.Today’s exercise was walking to/from work and I have a live resistance bands session tonight. Will tag the daily abs onto the bands session.Tonight’s dinner is a portion of the gunpowder cauliflower and lentil curry I made on Sunday.Ibiza holiday balance has come off the cc today so it’s getting closer. Not rushing the summer by though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Morning all, middle of the week already.
WFH today.
The Mr M delivery arrived and has all been put away. Had to battle with the freezers a bit as there was a good offer on frozen food I couldn't resist, but it's done and I can safely say there isn't any room for anything else at all. Need to spend the whole of July living out of the freezer stocks 😆
The old cat is at the vets today for her annual check up and booster. Hopefully they won't try to suggest she needs blood tests or her teeth cleaned. I think I've spent enough at the vets just lately. She had her teeth cleaned a few years ago and it cost over £500!
Today's exercise is walking to/from the vets which is a fair distance but not as far as the dog's vets. The live Zumba at 6pm and today's abs workout. No yoga this morning as the instructor is on holiday so will see if I can squeeze in a short session later.
Going to drop off the soft plastics recycling at the big Mr T as we'll pass it on the way back from the vets so that will save a job on Saturday. Mr SA puts the cat carrier on his scooter and we take the dog as well so she gets a walk out of it.
The coffee pods recycling is building up again so I think we'll have to pencil in a trip to Mr A this weekend. It's a long walk but needs to be done. Need to check if Mr A is still the recycling point as it seems to change on a regular basis.
The weather is quite warm and windy so two loads of washing out.
Tonight's dinner is stir fry to use up some veg in the fridge.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Glad Mr SA's issues are being thoroughly investigated.

Recycling is so hard isn't it? Having to go to so many different places. When my DGKs come round they are always asking which bin to put things in, as they know I am very strict in recycling....unlike DD, who says if it doesn't go in her kerbside recycling bin, then she doesn't have time. So her black bin is always full to the top.Making the debt go down and savings go up

So annoyed with the vets. Got there only to be told my appointment was at their other branch miles away. There was no way I'd have made an appointment there just for a check up/booster. The receptionist apologised for the mix up and I've to take the cat back tomorrow morning. Annoying as I had to take a big chunk out of my working day for today's wasted journey and now I have to take another chunk out tomorrow. I'm just glad I didn't go in a taxi because I do sometimes as it's not on a bus route. This is why I won't change the young cat and dog's vet - it's further away but it only has the one branch and they are a one stop shop with operating facilities. The old cat's vets has a tiny branch nearby for just boosters/check ups and then a much further away one for ops etc.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I feel for you with the vets, I currently have to use three different places, between 25mins and 50mins drive away. I really wish one place would see them all. I would have been fuming if I'd got there for no reason. I am enjoying the image of the cat in the basket on the scooter with you and the dog walking alongside. I think my heart would burst if I saw that in my village, so cute!
