Morning all, happy Monday.
WFH for a couple of hours this morning then in the office for the rest of the day after Mr SA's appointment with the GP. I'm going to leave my laptop in my locker so I don't have to carry it home and back to the office again tomorrow.
The new 4 week budget period starts today. There was an underspend of £112.91 across the pots including a £40 underspend in the groceries pot which is great as I'd stocked up with quite a few things when they were on offer so wasn't expecting an underspend in this pot.
The £2.91 oddment has gone to the Christmas pot, £40 to the vet pot, £40 to the house pot and £30 to the tech pot.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and another abs challenge workout. There's a live strength training session at 7.15 and will try to fit this in if I can.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of the veggie lasagne I made yesterday with salad. Glad I used the free electricity hour to batch cook 4 portions of lasagne, 2 portions of gunpower cauliflower lentil curry and 4 portions of spicy red lentil soup for work lunches. I've never know an hour fly by so fast!

I’ve got all 3 sizes - tall, medium and shallow. They’re really easy to store. I must’ve had mine well over 10 years, good to see they’re still available.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Mr SA’s GP appointment was running an hour late 😞 The tests he’s had so far have come back clear of anything really nasty like cancer. One of his samples had a small amount of blood but nothing of concern. The next lot of tests are to look for diverticulitis, crohn’s, IBD, coeliac etc. He’ll have to see a gastroenterologist if nothing comes out of those tests. At least he’s being investigated thoroughly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

This sounds very thorough. Great to hear there's nothing in the first tranche, but it would obviously help if they can find a way to reduce the symptoms.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That's a relief though obviously you want answers and help. Hope Mr SA is feeling reassured about the no-cancer result after the bowel test request2
