Glad to hear the cat is sorted and survived the ordeal.1

Glad the cat's vet trip went well. MrSA's very early pub lunch suggestion with you and the cat made me smile. I do appreciate that it's probably far less amusing for you having to manage his expectations!1

Happy Friday folks 🥳
Worked in the office until 2pm then went to a nearby pub to celebrate a former colleague’s 60th. Only stayed for the one drink as my coach turns back into a pumpkin at 4pm ☹️ I do envy my colleagues who are free to stay as long as they like. It was lovely to see some retired colleagues I haven’t seen for a while and I don’t think I’ve hugged so many people in such a short space of time 😆
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and can you believe I’m 17p away from the next free gift at £150 spend. I’ll be back there on Monday so will hit the target.I left my laptop in my locker so fingers crossed this isn’t tempting fate 🤞
When I got back home I discovered Mr SA had broken a garden chair and the pressure pump watering system recently purchased 😞
Picked loads of mangetout, they’ve gone mad, can’t pick them fast enough.Today’s exercise was walking to/from work just over 20,000 steps.
Tonight’s dinner was lightly dusted yellowfin sole with steamed veg (mainly mangetout 😆)I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
What a pain about the breakages. I'm frustrated on your behalf.
Lovely that you had a good outing seeing people though, and when you retire your pumpkin coach will have extended parking hours!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Glad you had a nice time with colleagues. Sorry to hear about the breakages."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
