Bit late but happy Saturday 🥳
This morning gave the live salsa class yet another try but unfortunately it’s still not for me, too slow, the same steps over and over 😐 I’m sure it’s great for anyone new to exercise just too slow for me. Did my abs challenge afterwards.Took the dog on the park before it got too hot.Gave the house a good clean, did a bit of garden tidying then sat on my hanging chair for the rest of the afternoon. Also got some time on my sunbed and fell asleep it was so comfy 🤣
My feet are striped where I’ve had my sandals on, same with my wrist where my watch has been 😆
The dog isn’t enjoying the heat though.Tonight’s dinner has been pizza and salad. Just opened the rose cava to watch Glastonbury with 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Forgot to say the French rose on offer at Lid! for £6.99 is lovely. Very dry and pale which is just what I like. I plan to pick up another bottle on Monday if there’s any left.
Also today has been a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Lovely that you had a good outing seeing people though, and when you retire your pumpkin coach will have extended parking hours!
Enjoy the cava and Glasto 🥂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Cava and Glasto sounds good and you'll have your own nice loo to use...I don't have TV but I think I will do that next yearIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Morning all, happy Sunday.Didn’t wake up until just before 7 which is really late for me! I slept well anyway. It will probably be another NSD today. No plans to go anywhere other than the park across the road.I need to do some more gardening today. The council still haven’t collected the garden waste bin or even responded to my email complaint. Annoying as we’re paying for this service. I expect it will be picked up this week as usual now.Got another busy week ahead so need to prep today. I could do with planning a day off work soon after doing a full month in June.I’m going to get everything out of the freezers, make a list of contents and base my meal plan around what’s in there and cupboard stores.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Did the freezers inventory. How many sandwich thins 😱 🤣
All sorted now, list made and a lot tidier.Batch of tomato, basil and cannellini bean soup made for work lunches.Hot but cloudy today, still sat in my hanging chair reading though.Watching Glastonbury again tonight, they’ve been lucky with the weather this year. Enjoyed watching Rod. I like watching it on TV but would hate roughing it and the crowds would do my head in. I’ve only ever been camping once and that was traumatic enough not to want to repeat the experience 😆Made Mr SA repair the garden chair he broke plus he managed to get the pressure pump thing back working. He wanted me to help him but reminded him I didn’t break said items so why should I help mend them. The chair is held together with cable ties 😬
And yes it ended up being a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Happy Monday 😎
Payday today 😁
I'm in the office today but plan to finish for the day shortly. Can't bear being stuck indoors in freezing cold air con when it's hot and sunny outside. Had I not left my laptop in my locker I would've been tempted to WFH today. I was wishing I'd booked the day off that's for sure.
Not back in the office again until Thursday. I've swapped my office days around this week as on Thursday I'll finally get to meet in person my Scottish team mate who I speak to most days. I'm really looking forward to seeing her, we get along really well (virtually anyway) and she makes me howl with laughter the things she comes out with.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and live strength training tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of dhal from freezer stocks. I've had porridge for breakfast, soup for lunch and curry tonight, not exactly hot weather fare but the heat doesn't affect me. I don't ever recall thinking it's too hot to eat at any point in my life 😆
Not a NSD as I need to nip into Lid! on the way home. I'm just 17p off hitting the next free gift target. I don't need much but it will come to more than 17p.
Looking forward to logging off and sitting in my hanging chair later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Don't know how you can sit outside in this heat. Its far too hot for me. I was up at 5.30 today, hoovering done, watering the garden done, exercises on the patio and now doing nothing strenuous and certainly not going in the garden for any length of time.
I don't envy you if you have to walk home with your lap top.Making the debt go down and savings go up
