We turned up at the doctors only to find the appointment was with another branch a mile or so away. Mr SA didn't tell me this until we were almost there! Anyway the surgery contacted the other branch to let them know and he had a phone consultation. I spoke to them and explained the situation. He's just gone back to the local surgery to pick up a sample pot and book himself in for a blood test.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Mr SA made the appointment over the phone and the receptionist wouldn't have been aware of his brain injury. He wrote down the date/time just not the venue!
He's got another appointment for the blood tests and the GP has requested several different tests including Coeliac screening. The receptionist has given him a printout of the details including the venue thankfully.

Great that DD has pain relief, and the shopping arrived intact!
A nuisance about the venue but glad tests are underway, hopefully something helpful will be revealed soon, for both your sakes!

What a nightmare about the appointment. Hope there are finally some answers though."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

Morning all, happy Friday eve 😊
WFH again today so a nice relaxing start to the day with my book and a coffee. Mr SA got up at 7am which is really early for him so I'm glad I can retreat to my home office.
I've washed some bedding so need to hang that out shortly. Looks like the weather will stay dry until this afternoon.
I've brought back into use an oil burner/diffuser type thing that hasn't been used for years. I've got that on with some essential oil so it smells very spa-like in my office.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, day 2 of the 30 day abs challenge, a live kettlebell session at lunchtime and Zumba tonight. The abs challenge is only 5-15 minutes a day and it includes some strength work, yesterday was 5 minutes standing Pilates. Here is the link if anyone is interested, the exercises are via YT.
Tonight's dinner is butternut squash, red pepper and red onion risotto, I might use orzo rather than rice or use up some more of the lentil rice that needs using.
I need to book Mr SA a mobility scooter for our Ibiza trip. Scooters are so much more expensive there than in Lanzarote. We paid €100 for the week in Lanzarote, this one is €125 for 3 nights. He has to have one though; we tried to manage with just a wheelchair a few years ago and it was really hard work for me pushing him about in the heat.

Thanks for sharing the link, I've saved it to have a look. I like the little short workouts that you can just fit in somewhere."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1
