Happy Friday 🥳
Only just remembered I didn’t do day 3 of the abs challenge, totally forgot 🤦♀️ Oh well days 3 and 4 combined tomorrow.
Have been in the office today but had my usual early Friday finish. Didn’t get home until 4 though.Had a short potter around the city centre before making my way home. Good bargain in MnS with 2 packs of the Simply Cook type kits reduced to 20p each.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. Mr SA met me to take the shopping on his scooter.
Sat in my hanging chair with my book when I got back home. Annoying that the time was limited as I had to cook dinner 😞 I could’ve sat there a lot longer.DS and the GKs aren’t visiting tomorrow due to yet another party for the GKs. DS has sent a Father’s Day present for Mr SA though. I didn’t realise it was Father’s Day this weekend, it seems early this year. Isn’t it just yet another way to try to squeeze money out of you - Valentines, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, all one after the other.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Another one thanking you for the link to short videos.
I think Father's Day is the newest of the bunch...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

That’s another weekend almost done 😞Yesterday we went to the big (ish) Mr T. They had 25% off clothing but didn’t see anything I liked. They only have a small selection in this store. I’ve had a few nice bits from there though in the past.Dropped off a bag of Mr SA’s bags and shoes to a recycling point but he’d hidden the shoes despite him deciding he didn’t want them because they were tatty. Managed to wrestle them off him in the end. Reminded him he’s had 3 new pairs of footwear this week!Did quite a bit of gardening too yesterday. Also managed some time on my hanging chair and my sunbed.Today I gave the house a good clean before we went to a local retail park. I bought an ornamental grass from B&Q and some bits and bobs I needed from BnM. Bought some reduced to 60p W@rbturtons brown sandwich thins and crumpet thins from there.
Planted some seeds this afternoon and also sat in my hanging chair. The dog has been living her best life on my sunbed 😆
Tonight’s dinner is Spanish style chickpea and spinach stew with veggie chorizo and red pepper sausage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
The dog on my sunbed 😆 This is on my “beach” area. It’s red hot down here as there’s no shade.

Forgot to add I had a £5 Prime credit and the Bridget Jones film was down to £4.99 so we watched that for free last night. Totally late to the party with this film but that’s the story of my life 😆 I enjoyed it as did Mr SA’s despite his protests it was a chick flick.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Aw lovely pic of the dog, sleeping the content sleep of a pet who knows they've nabbed your spot 😊😁4

I still love your beach area
Glad you enjoyed the film.

Yes that’s the contented sleep of a dog who knows she’s worth £2.5k 😱😬
On another note, on the way home today from the retail park, passed a local pub that was absolutely packed with blokes sporting a green “Mayo” top. We live in a predominantly southern Irish/Italian area so this isn’t an unusual sight by any means. No idea if this to do with football or rugby. Obviously something major going on that I have no knowledge of 🤣 However I felt I’d been walking for so long it wouldn’t have surprised me me if we’d ended up in the Emerald Isle 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
