Yes I had the LIB one too and used to really enjoy it as I am also a fan of the store. Sad to read they have gone downhill...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Just realised I’ve got my beauty boxes in a tangle 😆 LiB is one I used to have but cancelled a couple of years ago when it went downhill. Can’t remember having any issues with cancellation. The one I’ve been struggling to cancel is L00k F@ntastic. I sometimes get the M&S ones when they bring them out as they’re usually really good value, you can see what you’re getting and decide whether the products would be useful.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning all, happy Friday 😎
In the office today and finishing at 2pm to go to a retirement do at a pub near work. I haven't told Mr SA about the do it's just not worth the hassle. I'll arrive home at the usual time as I only plan to stay for an hour and he'll be none the wiser.
I'm going to pick up my new computer/reading glasses in a bit. Should've been last week but they weren't ready.
DD has been paid and sent her board over so that will go straight to the holiday pot.
I'm not going to stop off at Lid! on the way home as I need to make a proper list to make best use of the 10% off coupon. I think we'll go tomorrow morning and I can put the shopping on Mr SA's scooter.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work, no extras today. Tonight's dinner is stir fry.
Looking forward to a nice relaxing bath when I get home and then feet up with a glass of wine after dinner.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
If Mr SA says anything at all, tell him retirement dos and post-work drinks with colleagues are now mandatory as part of your organisation's new 'compulsory fun' policy.5

Thanks all it was a great do and is still going strong as doesn’t finish until 11pm. I stayed until 4pm. It was lovely seeing long ago retired colleagues and people I haven’t seen for ages. The bloke who was retiring was so right in saying in his speech how brilliant it is to work for an organisation where you can work your way to the top despite not having been to university and being from a lower socioeconomic background as he was.Ended up getting the bus home so only money spent was on the bus fare. There was a free bar at the do although I thought they were a bit tight on measures.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Morning all, happy Saturday 🥂
Finally cashed out £50 on YG 🥳 That’s earmarked for my day off next Friday when I’m out with friends. We always have a mooch round the shops before going for lunch and I usually end up buying something from a little independent boutique.
I need to phone Mr T as I still haven’t received the railcard voucher. It’s showing as pending in the app but I’ve noticed the points are now back in my account.Decided to hold off the Lid! trip until Monday. If you spend £30 in one go between 7-13 April you get £5 off your next shop. The 10% off is still valid on Monday so the plan is to maximise savings by waiting a couple of days. OMG the things I do to save money, it’s hard work this money saving lark 🤣 It will give me a couple of days to make a proper list anyway.
I still need to go to the shops today but will only buy what we need for this weekend.Planning to get a few garden jobs done today. The wind has blown a load of pink blossom all over the patio it looks both messy and pretty at the same time so a bit loathe to sweep it up 😆Tonight is pizza and Prosecco night 😍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
