With your premium bonds have you thought of selling them all & then buying back as one block.  There seems to be a better chance of winning then even though you would miss one draw.

Must check out my Tesco for plants. I went to the garden centre but was disappointed, apart from some nice strawberry plants

I am looking for a trailing hydrangea too as I was told it would be happy in a north facing garden?
I will go to Mr T to see if I can find one. Hope your new one does well.

The one we’ve got is in our front garden which is quite shady because of the church next door overshadowing it. It has done amazingly well. I read they prefer dappled shade although the ones in the back garden might have to brace themselves for full sun. All hydrangeas do well where we live particularly the blue ones, everyone seems to have at least one. It must be the soil round here.

Yes I’ve heard that. I usually send £100 a month but might be worth giving this a try. We had some years ago and never won anything either.

It's actually this one which I'm pretty certain you've made before. I've just subbed the butter beans for chickpeas as I prefer them and I use the Linda McCartney veggie chorizo sausages sliced up instead of chorizo. You know me I never follow a recipe properly. I might add chilli now you've mentioned it 😆
You are quite right - I didn't recognise the title but I've made that recipe! However, in looking for something with that title I came across this one, which is what I made and we've liked it. Sort of two for the price of one. :) The one I did today had a choice of chilli or cayenne so I approached with caution and used a quarter teaspoon of cayenne, but it wasn't really hot at all.

I love both butterbeans and chorizo, so that's how I'd made your recipe, but I really ought to have shares in chickpeas because I eat such a lot of them (often using recipes you found first, I think).

That does look delicious. I've bookmarked the website as it has lots of nice recipes on it - not that I need yet another source for recipes 😆 I get through loads of chickpeas and lentils.

I gave up on premium bonds last year after 3 years of not winning anything.  I put the money in a high interest account and don't allow myself to think that Ernie might have picked me one day.
