I don't think I've heard of anyone winning on premium bonds but I don't know many people that do them. I have an account that has prize drawers and have won £160 since November.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -

Seagull won a big one last year - I think it was £5k - I’m sulking as I didn’t win this month !Sealed pot challenge 822
Jan - £176.66 :j2 -
Morning all and here we are on Friday eve again.
Well I'm sulking because since I started paying into PBs I haven't won a thing. I don't know if it's because I don't have that much in there at the moment or because I'm putting in £100 every month and would be better off if it was saved elsewhere then put in as a bigger amount. The most likely answer is that I never win anything, never have done, I'm just not lucky like that.
WFH today thank goodness as I am really tired. It seemed to wash over me last night and I still don't feel very lively this morning. Thankfully I don't have any meetings in my calendar today so hoping to have a nice quiet day catching up on admin bits and writing up notes of meetings. I'm so ready for a break from work.
April is going to be a spendy/eventful month, although all accounted for in the budget:- Day off next Friday on the train to meet friends for lunch
- Easter - need to buy Easter eggs for the GKs
- 2 x retirement dos - one tomorrow and one in a couple of weeks
- Only Fools and Horses musical towards the end of the month
- Mr SA's 60th
- Lanzarote holiday - flying on Mr SA's birthday
I exchanged some ClubCard points for the senior railcard last night but the voucher is still pending in my account so I'm unable to purchase it yet. Hopefully it will be up and running by next Friday when I need to buy rail tickets.
Cross with Mr M as I didn't receive the Easter collector in my More app. I always do these and would've definitely activated it if it had been there. I check this app a couple of times a week for offers and do the majority of my shopping with them online. I sent a query last night so will see what they have to say. Apparently you had to activate by 23 March so too late for it now.
Another annoying thing is my beauty box subscription which used to be brilliant and fantastic value for money. Over the past year it's gone downhill and the contents haven't always been things I would use so I made the decision, after being a member for over 10 years, to cancel it at the beginning of December. They assured me this request had been actioned but would take 3 months to complete. I wasn't happy this week to find they'd taken another month's subs from my account as it should've finished last month. I sent a shirty email telling them to cancel it immediately or I would block the payment from my card. They've now confirmed my subscription has finished and no further money will be taken. Any other subscription I've cancelled has been actioned immediately so why this one has been such hard work I don't know! My final box arrives today and no doubt will be absolutely brilliant 😆
Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning, weights at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.
DD is at work so another chance to give the kitchen a good clean.
Two loads of washing done so will be a bit of ironing to do later.
Tonight's dinner is another old favourite recipe nutty sweet potato and lime stew. I haven't got any peanuts so will just leave them out, it doesn't spoil the recipe in my opinion. I also sub the peanut butter for PB Fit powder.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Mr M got back to me and said the Easter collector was a targeted campaign and I wasn't targeted. I think this is most odd as I've done all the previous collectors over the years, definitely done an Easter one before. Unless they were targeting people who spend under a certain amount to try and get them to spend more. Still miffed about it but it is what it is.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

That is annoying but at least you didn't miss out because of not getting a notification, would have been more annoying if you could have done it!

Don't do what I did the other year with your new Railcard - they wouldn't accept it and pointed out it was out of date, so I had a search of my purse and couldn't find the right one and had to pay full price. Thankfully it was only a short journey. Later I remembered I'd gone for the digital version so it was on my phone all the time!
Where's that facepalm emoji when I need it?
The nutty sweet potato and lime stew is one of my favourites.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I was going to sign up to Beauty Box now I am settled. I used to have it and liked it but reading your comments I don't think I will...
Recipe sounds good.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
