I've also had the letter from the Tentacled Ones. Our account is still in credit & I am really hoping that our next statement (due 21st) will show a reduction in use. We will then be into the no-heating months & can hopefully start to rebuild for next winter.

Completely agree re the free items at Lidl - we just got back and I got mixed up on the coupons this week and ended up spending £2.99 on something that should have been free with threshold £25 spend. My fault for not thinking about it carefully.  Sometimes these Lidl coupons conflict. OH says they do it on purpose lol.

I'm waiting for the day when L!dl realises you can get nearly £2 worth of that gorgeous low-GI bread as a reward for spending £50. That's about 3.75% of the spend which would actually be better than most interest rates over recent years. I do hope they don't take it out of the scheme!

The lower spend rewards are much better for sure.

    Happy Friday 😁

Happy payday to me. Money shuffle has been done. An oddment has been shaved off and gone to the Christmas pot, also £4.74 sent to the 1p saver pot. Money put aside ready to start sending to the savings pots in the next couple of weeks.

I can't believe it's the last day of March already! It's flown by!

Plans I had in mind for my day off today have been scuppered due to the awful wet weather. I wanted to walk up to the garden centre then stop off for lunch on the way back, but we'd get soaked. Obviously this is the downside of not having a car. I don't want to waste the day so I'm going to get the cleaning done so I've got the weekend free.

Exercise - the dog will need to go on the park at some stage if it ever stops raining and I'll look for a FitOn or You Tube session.

Not sure what I'm having for dinner tonight but there's plenty of options to choose from. Might end up with a stir fry though.

It might be NSD 10 if we end up staying in all day. I still need to book the airport lounge but that can be done over the weekend.
