@SuzeQStan I’m in a few FB groups for Lanzarote and PDC, people often mention they’ve lost money in that machine plus a few others. We allow €100 a day for spending although rarely spend that much to be honest. Anything left gets rolled over to the next holiday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Morning, happy Friday Eve 😎
WFH today. The weather is lovely and sunny (well at the moment anyway) so have two loads of washing on the line plus another one in the washing machine.
Got a very busy work day from after lunchtime onwards so trying to make the most of a quiet morning.
Today's exercise mission is 15,000 steps target and a Pilates session at lunchtime. Also must remember to do the plank challenge as I totally forgot about it yesterday. I want to keep it up after the 30 days as my abs are definitely a lot tighter. As the weather is nice I'm going to take a break from work this morning to take the dog on the park with Mr SA so that will add some steps.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of aubergine Kitchari from the freezer that has been in there ages and keeps getting bumped off and back on my meal plan. Today is the day it finally goes 😆 Mr SA is having sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding.
Moneywise it will be NSD 7 of March and I've transferred 75p to the 1p savings challenge pot. It's a bit boring this time of the month on the money front, just waiting for payday next Friday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
It's a gusty day here so I've got washing on the line too. Heavy rain forecast from 3 so I'm hoping washing will be well and truly dry by then. The cat is running around like a crazy cartoon cat - my Nan would say "he's got the wind up his tail" 🙀
I'm another fan of Chase - my savings pots are all set up in my account and it's nice and easy to use. I've just enjoyed topping up the savings pots with my £200 bank switching money. Surprising myself with my relatively new found love of saving money.3 -
Happy Friday 🥳
I worked in the office today and did my usual short day. I nipped out to B&M first thing, I had a list but unfortunately didn’t get all I was after, namely some finials for the errant bedroom curtain pole - DS broke one when he put it back up.Exercise today has been 23,000 steps. That will do me for today. The weather here has been crazy. Where I was sitting at work by the windows, one window had blue sky and sunshine the other black clouds. There were several rainbows 🌈 On the way home it was sunny then it hailed for literally seconds but stayed sunny.Tonight’s dinner is a stir fry with wholemeal noodles and tons of veg 😋
Looking forward to putting my feet up shortly with a glass of 🍷so that’s me asleep for 8.30 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

I wish I’d taken a photograph of the rainbows. I’m on the 6th floor at work and have an amazing view of the city centre from floor to ceiling windows - with an added bonus today of the rainbows. I always try to sit by the window even though I’m not keen on heights.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I love a good rainbow. I saw a really bright one after my dad had died and I was ranting away to him and crying in the car…most definitely a sign 😁 Even dog agreed it was, so it must be true 🌈

Happy Saturday 🥂
The dog got me up at 5.30 so I did some Spanish and read my book. My brain works better first thing then it’s all downhill from then on 😆
I’ve just finished my ClubFit class, just having a coffee before going to the big Mr T. That will be my steps target done before lunch as it’s a good walk.
The weather is weird again one minute sunny the next raining. No visitors today so it will be a quiet one.I’m making butternut squash dhal for tonight’s dinner as it’s curry night. I need to put the Prosecco in the fridge it’s normally in by now I’m slacking. That’s a lovely story about your dad @WinterWarrior 🌈I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
