Sometimes SA it's like pushing a very large boulder up a very steep hill. (((hugs))) XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy3 -
Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today.
Mr M delivery all packed away. One sub this week which was fine with me. After that I decided to give the fridge a good clean, then sorted out the freezers. It's fair to say there is NO more room in the freezers, there's enough stuff in there to sink a battleship! My freezer inventory list has been updated. Got all this done before 7am, this is why I love WFH days.
I have a hairdressers appointment at 10am. It's only at the end of my road so literally 5 minutes walk away.
Exercise today will be an aim of 15,000 steps, bums & tums class at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner will involve sweet potatoes as I spotted one on the turn in the fridge.
Money saving - have topped up the 1p savings pot, now £117.67, also 15% staff discount on Mr M order plus £2 off voucher for frozen food. I think I've now spent enough to qualify for the £38 off my Easter shop voucher.
Cleaning - need to give the living room a good clean after work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Happy hump day!
Have been in the office this morning until lunchtime, now back home to finish the day, will be done by 4pm.
Will finish the day on 20,000 steps plus as I'm already on 17,000 and I have a Zumba class at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is Harissa Prawn Orzo, a recipe I make time and time again because it's so delicious. That's if there's any Harissa paste left after Mr SA was using it as a face cream 😆
I was hoping for a NSD today but realised I'd missed a couple of things off the Mr M order I needed for tonight. I used the £2 off voucher so spent less than a fiver.
In money news I've transferred some money into holiday savings, an oddment into the Christmas pot and a small oddment into the 1p savings challenge.
Only two more working days to go then a three day weekend to look forward to. This week is my last full working week until after Easter 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

The run of short weeks in April and May is lovely. Clocks change on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to lighter evenings (some warmer weather would be nice too)4

We only take cash with us and hire a safe @SuzeQStan. I’ve heard far too many bad reports about the cash machines including that particular machine - I know the hotel you’re referring to.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Ooh SA - that does not sound good! What have you heard about that cash machine?
We used it as we were passingmost days and I used to take anything like £50 up to £100 and sometimes just £20 cos it doesn’t matter as it’s just like taking cash out on your debit card in the Uk - no commission and perfect MC rate.Must admit that Chase card has come in handy for travel and they have extended my 1% cash back on spending for another year.Sorry I sounds like an advert for chase lol!Lancashire
