Just realised I’ve only got one more full week to do after Easter then I break up for my holiday that Friday. The week I come back it’s the May bank holidays 🥳

The run of short weeks in April and May is lovely.  Clocks change on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to lighter evenings (some warmer weather would be nice too)

Oh yass holiday time! We are now getting to Lanza on 30/4 so will miss you by one day boo. We booked the bank holiday week so we can make the most of annual leave entitlement.

If you have a Chase card you can withdraw cash (up to £700 per month I think) commission free and at perfect MasterCard rates from any Banca March cash point on the island (there’s one on the strip by the old supermercado / tourist trap that looks like a prison that’s now shut on coast side)

We only take cash with us and hire a safe @SuzeQStan. I’ve heard far too many bad reports about the cash machines including that particular machine - I know the hotel you’re referring to.

Ooh SA - that does not sound good!  What have you heard about that cash machine?

We used it as we were passingmost days  and I used to take anything like £50 up to £100 and sometimes just £20 cos it doesn’t matter as it’s just like taking cash out on your debit card in the Uk - no commission and perfect MC rate.

Must admit that Chase card has come in handy for travel and they have extended my 1% cash back on spending for another year.

Sorry I sounds like an advert for chase lol!
