We've certainly seen some rain in our neck of the woods this week, @Sun_Addict, haven't we? Same here this morning. It stops for a little while, but always returns. I popped down to the greenhouse earlier to take the bubble wrap off my seedlings & I could see water squelching up around my boots with every step. The lawn is completely saturated. According to Mr F (the walking weather forecast), Sunday is supposed to be the best day of the weekend so we are banking on that as our much-needed gardening day. I have caught up well in the greenhouse, but am still way behind outside, because we've had so much rain.

We have done very little in the garden so far this year. It has been too wet. Not even cut the grass yet this year. The garden is so far behind this year.
We can't even walk on our back garden at the minute. It is water logged.4 -

For a change the rain hasn’t been bad here. It rained in the morning but by the time we came out of the theatre the pavement was dry and we had blue sky. It’s grey today but no rain up to now……won’t hold my breath though 😉January spends - £587.583

The sun keeps attempting to come out but soon gives in to the rain. Managed to get a break between showers to give the dog a good run on the park.Mr SA is driving me batty. He’s bored and is shuffling back and forth constantly.
I turned my back for a few minutes to find he’d taken the tomato plants growing happily in the dining room window and planted them in a grow bag in the greenhouse. I’d earmarked a large tub for them and specifically told him not to move them yet 😖
He’s also interfered with a plant DD is growing in the spare room window. He keeps watering it and it’s a plant that doesn’t like overwatering. DD is taking it very seriously and even bought a gadget to measure moisture levels. She’s had to move it to her bedroom out of his way.I feel like today has been a waste of a day’s leave as all it’s done has stressed me out. At least when I go to work I get a break from him.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Aww bless you SA, so sorry to hear you are stressed. I can only imagine how hard it is for you sometimes. Its a pity you can't find some sort of community club Mr SA could go to sometimes to engage with like minded people. He might enjoy himself and it would give you a rest sometimes.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Sorry to hear about the stress you are under SA. I know nothing practical about this really but have you had a recent carers assessment to explore various forms of available respite at all?
again apologies as I’m sure you’ve been there and done that.Lancashire
