No it’s not that one. It’s the camera down his throat. He can’t have a colonoscopy due to his mobility issues and the prep.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
I did wonder how he’d go on. Hopefully they’ll give him something…..I don’t remember the last few times I’ve had them as they gave me the date rape drug.cant remember what it was called but that what the doc said it was….it was brilliant and much better than the previous time I’ve had them….although it’s fascinating watching the screen when the camera is in there.

Evening all.
Worked in the office and finished at lunchtime to go for lunch with my friend who’s retiring. I didn’t bother telling Mr SA as there was no need for him to know it was just lunch.
Bought an eyeliner, eyebrow pencil and nail polish from B00ts using the £10 off coupon then got another £2.50 off plus some bonus points and a free gift.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. Mr SA met me outside to take the shopping on his scooter.
We had a bit of rain so he’d got the washing in - I know shock! I missed the rain as I was in the pub 😆Today’s exercise has been walking to/from work and Zumba.
Tonight’s dinner was lightly dusted yellowfin sole with steamed veg.
WFH and payday tomorrow 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
Happy Friday 🎉
Payday 🎉
WFH 🎉
I had a hair appointment at lunchtime but he's cancelled as he's unwell. Re-booked for 2 weeks today. A bit disappointed as my fringe is desperate for a trim more than anything. Might see if I can just trim a tiny bit off to tide me over.
Payday finances done. CC balance paid off. Sinking funds savings pots have been fed. Regular savers money set to one side to send after the 1st. Bills money ready for the direct debits going out from next week. Combined oddments of £12.89 have gone to the Christmas pot.
Had a £10.59 underspend in my personal spends pot which is good considering I've been out for 3 meals/drinks with friends this month.
DD is at work so will try and give the kitchen a good clean before she gets back.
I need to message the gardener and painter - this has been on my to do list for ages!
I need to apply flea treatment to the dog and young cat. I hate applying it to the young cat as she's so difficult to get hold of, then she acts as if I've just tried to kill her. It doesn't bother the dog at all.
Today's exercise is dog walking (done), live Zumba this afternoon and a live strength training class at 5pm.
Tonight's dinner will be some sort of veggie curry, will see what needs using in the fridge.
Picked a decent sized aubergine from the garden yesterday. I tend not to grow too many as there's only me that eats them.

I finally got around to messaging the gardener and I must've had a sixth sense because he was passing my house in his van! He knocked on the door but couldn't have a look today as he was en route to another job. He's coming round on Sunday. Also messaged the painter and he's going on holiday tomorrow but will contact me when he gets back.
No rush to get the jobs done but before Christmas would be good.
I listened in to a WW live workshop this afternoon and it was about never-ending to do lists. The suggestion was selecting your top 10 things off the list for August then look back to see if you've achieved your aims. I thought that was a really good idea. Just need to pick the 10 most important things - decisions decisions 😆
On the list for August is build in a short daily mindfulness session. I also want to do yoga/pilates more often than I do, even if it's just a short session. It's just building the habit. For instance I don't think twice about doing my daily Spanish learning as it's an ingrained habit now.

Happy August 🙂 I can’t believe it’s August already. My birthday month so I can start celebrating right now this very moment 🤣
Went to the big Mr T this morning with the soft plastics recycling then forgot to drop off the batteries as they’ve moved the bit where you drop them off to somewhere not so prominent. Was talking to some old neighbours from years ago and they were shocked to see Mr SA as he was a young able bodied man the last time they saw him.
DS and the GKs finally visited and dropped off cards, wine and flowers for my birthday in case they don’t get before. I can’t believe how grown up DGD is getting.
Did some gardening then the gardener turned up unexpectedly today instead of tomorrow. I’ve asked him to do quite a few things and Mr SA was looking most disgruntled. After he’d gone he said we could do those jobs - note the use of ‘we’ 😐 Reminded him neither of us can which is why they’re not getting done.
Anyway the gardener is going to get back to me with a price and could possibly make a start next week. I’ve told him no rush as nothing is urgent.
In other gardening news I’ve moved the tomatoes out of the greenhouse as they’re not faring well in there. I had a tomato plant that was due to be composted as it was almost dead but it started doing well when I moved it outside so hopefully the others will perk up.
Picked some more raspberries and a chilli. Caught Mr SA hosepiping everywhere again. It’s like he was in a trance and the water was shooting all over, the patio was soaking 😖Managed to sit in my hanging chair briefly and promptly fell asleep. I swear it’s the motion of the chair that sends me off. As I’d only nodded off briefly it made me feel really groggy for a while afterwards.
I ordered Mr SA some croc type shoes and they arrived today. He absolutely loves them and they fit really well so I’ve ordered him another pair in a different colour.
Today’s exercise has been walking to/from Mr T and gardening.
Tonight’s dinner was pizza and salad. Prosecco is open 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
Happy birthday month! 🥂
They say that if you have trouble falling asleep you should gently rock yourself like you're in a cot, think cots and rocking yourself are meant to emulate feeling of being in the womb, so no wonder you fell asleep in lovely hanging chair 😊
