Mr SA's scooter was collected at lunchtime and the back axle has snapped. I don't know whether this was as a result of yesterday's fiasco or something that happened when he went out later in the day and broke down. Unfortunately they don't have a courtesy scooter spare at the moment so he's confined to barracks. He's already tried to take the dog out on his stroller and I had to stop him. It took him absolutely ages just to get across the road from the park on it yesterday so I don't know what he's thinking of. He goes stir crazy when he can't get out so he's not going to be easy to live with until he gets his scooter back or a courtesy one. This is why I refuse to buy him a scooter as he just trashes them, he's always banging into things.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪3 -
I hope it's not too long til the scooter is back. Pavement parking is so ignorant.

Hope scooter is back soon.

It was someone using the local shops so depends if he does it again.

If anyone is stupid enough to block the pavement then they can't moan if their car gets scratched. I know on the occasions I've had to squeeze by a car I don't do it carefully. There was a black mark all along the van's side which I suspect was a result of Mr SA's black armrest where he tried to get past - in fact I hope it is!

Morning all, happy hump day.
WFH again.
Mr M delivery arrived at 6am.
The gardeners arrived at 8am. Managed to save money on the bricks for the path as the builders merchants had run out of matching ones so I've told him to use the bricks from the bottom of the garden where my hanging chair is. The chair doesn't need to be on bricks, he only needs 80 and there'll still be plenty left.
Mr SA is still scooter-less. The scooter is in fact in at the seaside as that's where the repair shop is. He sneaked out to the park on his frame yesterday which I suspected he might try. He didn't get far but he was desperate to go out. Thankfully he didn't try to take the dog.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance cleared. One of the 6 months regular savers has matured today so have set aside the money needed for spending money, taxis, etc and the rest has gone into the home improvements pot apart from £250 that has opened a new 12 months regular saver account. A few oddments totalling £15.73 have gone to the Christmas pot.
I'm hoping to make a veggie lasagne for tonight's dinner provided that the almond milk is still ok to use.
Today's exercise is yoga (done), running up and down stairs dealing with the gardeners and Zumba at 6pm.
