My SIL had a call for the lung test….went into a panic and ended up getting an emergency appointment with the doc only for him to explain the NHS were routinely testing certain people. Surely they’d have been better letting folk know about this new scheme rather than causing worry.January spends - £587.585

Afternoon all.
I'm back home now after being in the office this morning.
The young cat is being very lethargic today which isn't like her. She hasn't touched her food and is showing no interest in going out. DD thinks she's been poisoned by a hyacinth but having looked it up online it's the bulbs that are poisonous and she's definitely not eaten a bulb or any other part of it for that matter. I've got to ring the vet this afternoon anyway as, despite me calling yesterday to move the cat's booster appointment to next week, I'm still getting reminders about my appointment tomorrow. The dog has a check up tomorrow morning for her ear infection so in a moment of madness I booked her in for 15 minutes after the cat. Then I realised that this wasn't realistically going to work so moved the cat's appointment to next week (or so I thought). In normal circumstances I'd see if she improves overnight but now DD has sown as seed in my mind I'll run it past the vet.
Popped into Lidl on the way home and picked up a free hair conditioner with the coupon.
I've received refunds from Am@zon for the faulty and unsuitable WiFi extenders. I set up the latest one at the weekend, it took less than 5 minutes to get up and running and is working well in my home office.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Hope the young cat is alright and just feeling a bit under the weather.
It's horrible when they are ill and they obviously can't tell you what is wrong.3 -

Phoned the vet and they've suggested seeing how she is in the morning. I mentioned the hyacinth but they didn't appear to be overly concerned as she hasn't actually eaten any of it. As they suggested it could be something else entirely, she was fine yesterday. If I'm still concerned they'll fit her in when I take the dog, although this doesn't resolve the issue I have of struggling with both of them at the same time. We were originally going to take them both on Mr SA's scooter but I was concerned about the cat box being in the foot well for a fairly lengthy journey and Mr SA isn't exactly the most careful driver.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
