    It is a fab feeling getting the last mortgage payment paid. Go for it!

    I agree there is nothing quite like that "it's all mine" feeling.  Mine was over 20 years ago (I'm that old)  & I still remember walking into the building society with that final cheque.  Two months later I bought out the chief rent.
