I hope I don't fall asleep 🤣

Morning all, happy Wednesday.
In the office today, got here at 7am just as it was opening. I'm planning to finish early at 2.30 although I'll have done almost a full day by then.
I need to pick up my tickets from the train station today for Friday.
I've done a quick mid-week finance check, paid off the cc balance, sent £1.18 to the Christmas pot and £200 to the holiday pot.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is leftover veg chilli with potato wedges.
I plan to do some more gardening when I get home. I think I might make a start on the weeding.
Glad I pegged out some washing as it's another beautiful day.

Morning all.
WFH today thank goodness. It was so nice not to have to get up at 4.30. I had a fairly relaxing start to the day although the dog disturbed me wanted to be let out then she pinched my space on the sofa.
Final working day of the week for me. What a busy week it's been!
Mr SA had the cheek to grumble about me going out with friends tomorrow saying 'it's alright for some'. Reminded him it's alright though when I'm getting up at 4.30 and going out in the cold and dark while he's warm and cosy in bed, doing a day's work while he's watching TV/sitting in the sunshine, cleaning up after him, cooking his dinner, organising the house plus doing all the cleaning and gardening. I rest my case.
There seems to be a mix up with the GP and Mr SA. He had a message from the GP about the appointment with the IBD team he's been waiting for since last July which said he had an appointment on Monday. No, this appointment is for a liver scan which, according to a second message from the GP he doesn't need as the cyst is tiny and not of concern they've decided not to do anything about it other than another scan in 6 months. So is the trip to the hospital on Monday needed? Something for me to sort out today as I need to know before we set off on Monday.
It's the friends of the park meeting tonight, only found out this morning, definitely not going this time.
Things I still need to sort out:
- Tree surgeon quote for later on in the year when the nesting season has finished
- Still not heard from the gold place so need to chase that up again
- Mr SA's phone insurance
- Renew senior railcard
These things are starting to become frogs so the aim is to tick at least two things off. The railcard is still valid until Easter so not immediately urgent.
Today's exercise plan:
- Yoga at 8-ish
- Dog walking/park litter pick at 10-ish
- Lunchtime strength training class at 12.30
- Aerobics at 5.15 (Zumba not on tonight 😞)
Other tasks:
- More gardening - clearing area around the pond, continuing the job I started yesterday
- Ironing - as already have a load of washing out
- Clean the bathroom - if I can get in it that is as DD is off work today
- Surveys - got a YG one and I'm so close to cashing out £50 now
- Spanish lessons
Still undecided about tonight's dinner but it will probably be the smoked basa with cauliflower and leeks recipe I enjoy. I need to see what needs using up first.

I suppose from Mr SA's point of view he misses the fact that you do all the work of keeping the household running on top of a full time job, and just sees that while you get to socialise, he doesn't have a social life to speak of. Misses the point, but perhaps understandable - did he have friends of his own previously or has he just forgotten that this is an aspect of his life that's never really been present?
I got a cracking Lidl green box last weekend - although the mango in it still isn't ripe!

He had lots of friends when I first met him back in the 80s but all have fallen by the wayside and a couple sadly died young.

I’ve had a lovely day with my friends today. Started off with a free coffee in Nero courtesy of 🐙 then on the train that goes to the coast, followed by a wander around my friend’s little market town, then a lovely lunch and chat. We lost track of time and my other friend and I only just made it back in time for the train home.
I treated myself to a pair of jeans with a bit of sparkle from a little boutique. They remind me of the brand new jeans I had on when Mr SA ran me over that had to be cut off, I was gutted 😞
Walking through the city centre spotted another friend in one of the pubs and she tried to persuade me to stay for a drink but I was meeting Mr SA at Lid! so declined.
Absolutely shattered tonight but in a tired but happy way.Exercise has been just over 20,000 steps. Tonight’s dinner was the Two Chubby Cubs air fried satay style tofu with stir fried vegetables and noodles. Absolutely delicious 😋

That sounds like a super day! Nice to get some jeans to fill the gap left by the pair that had to be cut off - which would have been worn out by now, whereas these should last a good while yet.
