Your projected 2025 sounds brilliant - you have kept up long-term goals and are near to achieving others. There are holidays to look forward to! The mortgage is nearly gone and you can plan for retirement and all that lovely time when you have your morning coffee and read your book and don't have to go to work.
2024 had its awful moments and I'm glad they are in the past now. You won through those and came out the other side and I hope they fade into the background now.
Happy new year to you all!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

2024 has been awful for so many people. You always hope for a better year but somehow doesn’t seem to happen. Sounds like a lovely year ahead for you SA, hopefully no dramas tho. I never make new year resolutions, why wait till then, start as soon as you decide to change something. I’ve had my chippy tea which was lovely, had a bath now in bed listening to the rain.

Happy New Year @Sun_Addict. I don't usually comment but I always read your posts, and am in awe of all you achieve (sometimes I feel like I need to have a lie down when I read how many steps you have done!!!) Lots to look forward to in 2025 and it will be fab for you when the mortgage is cleared.2

No particular plans for today, the weather is dire at the moment. My patio furniture is halfway down the garden from the wind. Will take the dog out when it's fit to do so.
Exercise today is dog walking and Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of salmon from freezer stocks, Mexican rice and veg.
Back to work tomorrow - boo 😒
