Wrap the JD quick before Mr SA finds it!2

The craft fair was absolutely packed. There was a queue for one stall so long you couldn’t get to the nearby stalls. I couldn’t really see exactly what it was selling as there were so many people around it but looked like cakes or similar. I bought a hand painted Christmas wine glass to replace the one that was broken when I unpacked the Christmas stuff and a hand painted vase. Mr SA stayed home which was a good job as even the bar was packed, not a seat to be found. Bumped into someone from work there too. Nice to see a local event so busy.Good job I took a bag with me as the brown paper bags my goods were in started to disintegrate rapidly in the rain on the way home.Need to make a batch of soup now for work lunches although I’m out for lunch twice next week. Making harissa prawn orzo for dinner.Won a lucky dip on the Lottery.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I always take a fold up bag everywhere with me. Love paper bags, but they definitely don't hold up very well.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Sounds like a really popular event. Enjoy your new wine glass!2

That's Monday done.
Worked in the office for most of the day then finished the last hour at home. Only a 3 day week for me this week as I'm off tomorrow and Friday.
Start of the new 4 week budget period today and had a £74.14 underspend overall for the last period. The genera; shopping part of the budget was overspent by a fair bit but I've been stocking up on Mr SA's beer and my wine while there are some good offers on. I hit target spend for the Mr M £45 off so will be using that discount on this week's big shop. I need to rein it in with the shopping spend now to start seeing the benefits.
Stopped off a Lid! on the way home from work and picked up the pineapple plant to finish off DD's Christmas presents. As I mentioned before she had one and Mr SA knocked the pineapple bit off it. I carefully carried this plant home and can you believe the wind started getting up and blowing my carrier bag about then someone walking in front of me decided to come to a sudden halt so bumped into them! Then when I got home with said plant safely in one piece the dog decided to rummage through the carrier bag. Thankfully the plant survived and is hidden out of Mr SA's and DD's way until Christmas.
I'm supposed to be at the park volunteer's meeting tonight but I can't face going out into the cold and wind again. I've seen the agenda and it looks to be a fairly lengthy meeting so probably wouldn't get back home until after 9pm. I'm only a small cog in this group, keeping the park litter free and helping out at events so I'm sure they can manage without me.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work and I will be doing GFWR day 9 shortly.
Tonight's dinner is aubergine curry left over from Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Sounds like a much better idea to stay in the warm and dry tonight. Its horrible and windy here and seems a much colder wind than we had over the weekend, even though its not as strong. I plan to cuddle up under a blanket after dinner for an hour of TV and then an early night with my book. Didn't sleep to well last night, so could do with an early night.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I've been eyeing up those pineapple plants, they look great!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

I sent my apologies to the group. As I said I’m not a key member so they don’t really need my input. In the interests of using things up I’ve been working on using up several tiny phials of perfume I received as free samples. The one I wore today smelled awful, like fly spray! I can still smell it now even after showering.I’ve now finished my Christmas present shopping so all that’s left to do is the wrapping.Claimed my free 🐙 coffee this morning, currently £903 in credit but that will change when the next bill comes out as the heating has been on a fair bit.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Wow, that's a brilliant amount of credit. We only have £335 at the moment. This months reading/bill is due on 17th & that will probably halve it. Still at least we are away for a week at Christmas to make up a bit more
