I got everything done apart from cleaning the bedroom and finishing my book. Now sporting sparkly green and gold nails 💅 The nail technician was really happy as she was getting fed up of doing red nails. She said it’s all she’s done the past few days.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Happy Friday 🥂
Day off today, trying to get a few jobs done before I head off for the Christmas meal. I don’t need to set off until about 11-ish. We’re meeting in the pub at 12 but I need to pick up Mr SA’s gilet from the outdoor shop first. Really looking forward to the lunch, it’s at a lovely Greek restaurant. For the secret Santa I ended up getting a Baileys miniature with a gorgeous little glass after suspecting someone else had done the coffee card idea. It’s 5 years ago today that I was hit by the car on the way to work. 5 years!!
Mr SA is grumbling a bit about me going out. I’ve told him I’d normally be out at work today anyway so no difference to him. Years ago he would’ve made me wear a hair shirt for days afterwards, now it really doesn’t bother me if he sulks. One positive thing about his brain damage is that he’s lost the ability to be able to create an atmosphere you could cut with a knife.I’ve finally finished my book. Also done a few Spanish lessons and cleaned the living room. I plan to do GFWR day 13 shortly and clean the kitchen. Then it’ll be about time to get some slap on and set off.Party time 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Enjoy.

Have a lovely time. Never mind what Mr SA thinks, life is too short to worry about what others think, even our husbands/partners. Do what you enjoy and make the most of each day, that's my motto now.Making the debt go down and savings go up
