I'm in danger of being a broken record here @Sun_Addict but doesn't Mr SA realise that if you don't recharge your batteries, the whole thing comes to a juddering halt?! You book as many days out with friends as you can squeeze in, please. You do know how fab you are, I hope? Love Humdinger xx4

Morning everyone.Got up early and have had my relaxing time reading with a coffee. Also done some Spanish lessons and a PA survey that involved far too much thinking for this time of the day 🤣
The plan for today is to take the dog out, give the bedroom and my office a good clean and do GFWR day 15. Also need to meal plan and make a batch of soup for next week’s work lunches.I want to get all the above done by early afternoon as I want to watch Love Actually with leftover pink cava when Mr SA’s goes for his siesta. 10 days away from Christmas and I still haven’t watched any Christmas films. Running out of time! I always feel like I’m running a month behind myself! I haven’t wrapped any presents yet as there’s nowhere to keep them safe from the dog, cats and prying eyes. There aren’t that many so it won’t take long.
I subscribed to a gardening magazine recently and yesterday received the free gift of 10 packets of seeds that came with the subscription. There are also free seeds every month so I’m going to be busy growing next year. Says she who planted sweet pea seeds back in October and still hasn’t checked on them 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I was only saying the same to DH last night. We normally watch Love Actually as our first film, and not seen any yet, apart from a few odd bits of very cheesy Ch5 or some other film channels. The modern ones seem to be so rubbish these days. I'm looking forward to Miracle on 34th Street, Muppets Christmas Carol and some of the other old ones. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the new one called That Christmas, will be good. It is by Richard Curtis who wrote LA and is coming on Netflix. Its animated, but the clips I've seen look lovely so far.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I got everything done I wanted to do so finally got to sit with my feet up with the leftover pink cava and watch Love Actually. I never tire of this film I absolutely adore it. The dog came to join me on the sofa for a cuddle 🥰
I’ve seen good reviews about that film @Makingabobor2 so will have a look when it’s out. I don’t usually watch animations, apart from The Snowman, but it sounds good.
Made a batch of the carrot and lentil soup from the new PON book as I enjoyed it last time I made it. Also made a lentil stew in the slow cooker for tonight’s dinner and a couple of portions spare, one for a dinner in the week and one for the freezer. I get through a lot of lentils and chickpeas 😆
Remembered to check on the sweet peas seeds and they’re doing fine. I really need to try and give the garden and greenhouse a good tidy up at some stage. There’s always so much to do and there’s only me doing it alongside working full time. All Mr SA does is make a mess!Have now won 3 lucky dips in a row on the Lotto, shame none of them amount to actual money.Just about to watch Jamie Oliver then off to bed ready for the final working week of the year. Not a full week as only half a day on Tuesday for the pantomime and my usual early finish on Friday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
