What sunrise! For that matter what sun. I have been wondering when I should close the curtains ever since I opened them. Just shows you what a difference the odd few hundred miles can make. Having said that yesterday, whilst being cold, was really sunny & I needed my sunglasses on, so shouldn't moan. I do find it noticable the difference in the two days has on my mood though & on how many lights I have on.

You were probably tired and made a mistake on the birth certificate and you're actually both 20 years younger 👍
Enjoy your bath and G&T3 -
How can I be old enough to be the mother of a 40 year old 🤣 It doesn’t seem so long ago I was 40. DS was 17 when it was my 40th so can remember it very well which has scared him 😆 He’s enjoying his big day and has been very lucky with presents and money. I told him not to tell Mr SA how much I put in his card, he’d have a heart attack 😆
I popped out to Mr S this morning mainly because they’re the only place doing cream cheese half price. Their cheap veg had been ransacked and was down to just cabbage and carrots. I don’t go there very often now as since we moved to the new building we’re further away, used to be able to be there and back inside 40 minutes now it’s an hour.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, Mr SA was just pulling up on his scooter as I arrived. They had all the 8p veg except for shallots. Shame about that as I particularly wanted shallots ☹️
I now have 3 x swedes, 2 x bags of potatoes, parsnips and carrots, 1x sprouts and 1 x not very big red cabbage.
The dog has fallen out with me because I ordered some Stinky Stuff for her ear and a food supplement. She wouldn’t eat her food with the supplement in so ended up binning the food. I put a drop of the ear drops in her ear and she hid under a pile of cushions sulking. This stuff definitely lives up to its name I could smell it upstairs 😆 It has good reviews about how well it works for ears so will persevere with it, might have to cut my losses with the food supplement though. I’ve tried unsuccessfully in the past with food supplements for her, she’s very fussy for a dog.
In money news my December payslip was available for viewing today so I know how much better off I’ll be with the pay rise. Last month we got the back pay so was a bit skewed. Won’t be in the bank until 31 December though. Also got £1 bonus for a PA survey.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I find dog peanut butter disguises most things. Smelly cheese can also work well.

You're not old...its just a number. My DS has just turned 48! DD is 43. Now that's scary. Not only do I remember my own 40th birthday
(DH proposed, in Paris...he's not my 1st husband, hence not the father of my children), but I also clearly recall my mum's 40th. I was 16 at the time & took her out for the day & paid for lunch. Time passes way too quicklyMaking the debt go down and savings go up

It's funny how the stores vary, they had loads of shallots in ours, I got two bags this morning."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1
