Happy Winter Solstice 🎄
Did my last ever ClubFit class this morning as the instructor is moving to Cyprus to set up a wellness retreat. We had her in tears with our comments. I will really miss her classes but there are some new ones starting up which sound good, looking forward to trying Salsacise.
Went to the big Mr T after that it was busy but not too bad. Picked up a selection of their cheap veg. Might give Lid! another try on Monday first thing for the shallots.Just need to do GFWR day 21 and that’s my exercise done for the day.Pizza and Prosecco tonight and happy to see there’s a programme about Strictly on so looking forward to that.Need to have a good tidy round now then might start wrapping presents.Tomorrow the plan is to give the house a good clean then go to the local park’s final Christmas market of the year after lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I know how you feel about having a 40 year old, my eldest daughter was 40 back in June and I’m still trying to get my head round it 😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203

Really enjoyed the Strictly show tonight and sad to look back on those who are no longer with us. I remember when I was a kid my mom used to watch Come Dancing which I thought was the most boring thing ever. She would’ve loved Strictly it’s a shame she didn’t live to see it. When it first started I used to watch it secretly on the kitchen TV when cooking dinner as the previous version of Mr SA didn’t like it. Started watching it properly when he was in hospital so when he eventually came home I made sure he knew this was now a Strictly household no arguments. Now he loves it so much he wants to go to the live tour!
Still haven’t wrapped the presents but got round to doing a job that’s been on my to do list for weeks - transferring the big bags of spices into jars and labelling them. The spice drawer looks a lot tidier now, I can see what I’ve got at a glance and the bags are no longer spilling out into the drawer. I couldn’t stop sneezing while I was doing it though 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Forgot to say I managed to get a Mr M delivery for NYE so don’t have to wait until 2 January. I could’ve got a delivery for 27 December but would’ve had to pay for delivery as I only have a mid week pass. I have plenty of stuff in stock so 31 December will be fine.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning all.Been up a while reading, drinking coffee and listening to a lovely relaxing playlist on Smooth Chill. The fake log burner and fairy lights are on and the dog is curled up next to me on the sofa.DD is getting ready to go to work and Mr SA is still in bed.I want to give the house a good clean this morning ready for Santa 😆
Exercise will be GFWR day 22 and lots of dog walking.Hoping to go to a local park’s Christmas market after lunch, weather permitting. I need to buy a bauble to attach to DS’s Christmas present. I always attach a bauble to family presents and try to pick an appropriate one. I’ve dithered that much with his I still haven’t got one. I actually found one in Mr S on Friday but when I got to the till it had somehow smashed so left it in the basket. I was hoping Mr T would have some yesterday but no sign of any. Have tried the charity shops. The park Christmas market have some lovely hand made ones. Mental note for next year not to leave it until the last minute.Tonight’s dinner is Gochujang tofu with mushrooms and broccoli. There’s leftover pizza for lunch and leftover pink Prosecco for tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
The playlist sounded lovely SA! I'm in the Highlands now for Christmas and New Year - it's still pitch black outside - won't get light till gone 9am so I'm writing this in bed!
The bauble on Christmas gifts is a lovely idea. My sister does this as well on her gifts and I always keep the baubles. She wraps presents up beautifully- unlike me where the recipient will get a rosette slapped on their gift!😂
I hope you get to the Christmas market and have a nice and productive time there. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Our dog is funny with food supplements as well.
Our vet has advised us to give him something for his joints as he gets older (he has a slightly slipping knee cap) but he has point blank refused to take any we have tried so far fussy sod, including the expensive monthly subscription ones 🙄

As it was lovely and sunny this morning we decided to set off for the Christmas market earlier than planned. Can you believe halfway there the sky turned black and it started sleeting. We were about to turn back but then the sky cleared and out came the sun again! There were very few stalls unfortunately but I did manage to get a very appropriate bauble for DS, one shaped like a watering can. It was expensive but he’ll love it as he’s really into gardening. I made them bubble wrap it 😆 It was more than I wanted to pay, there were some quite nice cheaper ones, but this one was just so much more fitting. He’d better be careful with it 🤣
Mr SA has gone back to bed so going to wrap his presents while he’s out of the way. He’s moaning about the Christmas concert we’re going to tomorrow night and how he’s convinced it’s not his type of thing. I’m really looking forward to it, it’s got brilliant reviews. I’m sure he’ll enjoy it he’s just being grumpy. He was the same with the panto and enjoyed it in the end. We’d never go anywhere if it was left to him.Still haven’t done the cleaning but will do shortly even if it’s half the house today and the rest tomorrow. Sitting here writing about it won’t get it done 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
