Just realised that the bloke at the table next to us in the restaurant yesterday is an actor in the pantomime we went to on Tuesday. I heard him telling someone he was doing two shows a day and thought he sounded a bit theatrical. Now hoping I didn’t say anything negative about the panto to Mr SA in conversation 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I'm glad you both enjoyed the show! And I wouldn't worry too much about your conversation possibly being overheard: crunchy feedback, if given objectively, can be really useful. However, chances are they didn't overhear anything that's going to keep them awake at night. They were probably absorbed in their own conversation.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. The show sounded brilliant SA! I'm so glad you enjoyed it - Mr SA did too in the end by the sound of it!😂Sorry to hear he had a fall getting in the taxi though. Do you think a more small minibus type taxi that has the electric steps that go down may be easier for him to get in and out. You could order one from the local taxi company to take you both and pick you up?
I hope all the SA family have a very happy, relaxing Christmas. X❤️🎄🎅Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

And relax.DS and the GKs have been and gone. Presents have been exchanged. Just realised I only had a handful of crisps and a couple of mini pizzas for lunch as I was busy getting the buffet ready. Mr SA insisted on a normal lunch beforehand and then started eating the buffet food as fast as I was putting it out.Mr SA has been like a car crash in human form today. A house down the road was having their drains cleared and he went crashing into the pipe on his scooter yanking it out of wherever it was clearing. I kept shouting at him to stop but he carried on regardless. So embarrassing and I had to apologise for him as he didn’t. Then he crashed once again into our drainpipe and I had to mend it. It will need replacing soon as it has that many chunks missing.DD was sorting through various flavours of gravy granules looking for one to go with her chicken crown tomorrow. I had beef, chicken, onion and vegetable and after looking at them all in detail realised they were all vegan - yes even the beef and chicken ones 🤣 It’s only usually Mr SA that has gravy maybe once a week hence I don’t make it from scratch so find the granules handy to keep in.Decided to just do scampi for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA will have his with chips and mushy peas and I’ll have mine with steamed veg and sweet potato wedges.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I can sympathise with Mr SA and the taxi. Car makers do not think of people who have mobility issues. I find cills are the worst as I have trouble getting my foot over them
Glad you both enjoyed the show. Have a lovely Christmas day.3 -
The next time we’re at the theatre will be in April for Only Fools & Horses. He’s going to go on his scooter as it’s so much easier for him and it will be lighter nights by then. He’s driving me nuts tonight constantly changing channels on the TV. Just as I get settled into watching one thing he turns over. I was watching the end of Home Alone when he randomly switched over and then went via several channels to get back to it 😐 This is why I don’t get to watch much TV.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
