Glad the radiator is fixed. Very strange that it turned itself down to zero. Just like with children who blatantly deny spilling, breaking or fiddling with things, sometimes even when the evidence is absolute. I remember watching a Child of our Time on tv and they were looking at when children start to fib. There was a fabulous scene when a 3 year old was left in a room with a chocolate cake and told not to eat it. The mum returned to a demolished cake and a child with a face smothered in chocolate and the child flatly denied going anywhere near the cake.

Hope you felt well enough to do the workout. I keep thinking I must work on my fitness. I used to always go to the gym or work out at home but I've really let that slide over the past few months. I really need to get back into it. My middle aged spread is spreading.....
Good that you've solved the mystery of the thermostat on the radiator too.
I'd forgotten about the Gavin and Stacey programme, I'll try and catch up with that in a bit.
Take care and hope you feel better soon x2 -
Thank you all. I still don’t feel great. Managed the workout and the dog walk but chilled the rest of the day. Watched Gavin & Stacey and loved it. Then watched A Christmas Carol, my favourite version with George C Scott as Scrooge. Didn’t go to the boutique soirée as I really don’t need anything so have managed 2 NSDs in a row. Will need to buy bread tomorrow but that should be all.Tonight’s dinner is smoked haddock with pearl barley, leeks and broccoli. Got loads of veg to use up.Going to have a soak in the bath now and seen if that makes me feel better.Glad I booked tomorrow off work or I would’ve been going back which is a depressing thought. We only close bank holidays so I’ve had to use leave for the rest of the time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

We had a nightmare trying to avoid social media this morning . We didn't watch Gavin and Stacey until 1pm those afternoon 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely loved it.
Glad you have had an uneventful Christmas and you solved the radiator mystery 😀1 -

Caught Mr SA fiddling with the radiator thermostat 😐 Once the heating reaches the required temperature it goes off until such time the temperature dips below that. He sits right next to the radiator constantly feeling it to make sure it’s on. Obviously he thinks the temperature is controlled via this radiator. I rest my case.
I still feel rough so will be off to bed after The Masked Singer (my guilty pleasure 🤣).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I'd be asking my boilerman if he had any child proof thermostats - you never know it may work.
