Yes the glass is fun!💋
I've finally caught up with your diary SA! Belated congrats to DS and his OH on the announcement of their wedding. Something to look forward to later in 2025!🎊. Plus your renovations look great!
Shame you didn't enjoy the panto as much as you thought but it's a day out. I went to a musical recently that I was looking forward to immensely, but it fell rather flat with me even thought it had got marvellous reviews and everyone I knew who had been to see it raved about it!🤷♀️ I can't remember the last time I went to a panto - when DD was small definitely ! I did used to enjoy them though.Did Mr SA ever get the desert boots to complement his camouflage trousers?😂Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Finally caught up on you diary and I’m now going for a lie down for a week 😀 you pack so much in to your day, I’ve been inspired to start lots of projects while reading but we will see if that’s followed with any action 😂
Congratulations to your DS on the upcoming wedding and all your renovations sound great, I love the colour and the fireplace in the dining room. It’s funny but when we had that snow a few weeks ago I found a channel on YouTube that showed fake wood fires so I put it on for a laugh and I ended up turning my heating down because I felt too warm 😂😂🙄isn’t the brain weirdOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206 -

Morning all, happy hump day.
Decided to WFH today rather than go into the office as I didn't wake up until just before 6am. I think I need to start setting my FitBit alarm again. I don't actually need to be in the office and will get more work done from home. I have a few things to finish off before I break up for Christmas.
No @Seasidegal58 he didn't get the boots - well not yet anyway 😆
Today's exercise plans are 2 x GFWR advent challenges as I missed yesterday's due to running out of time, dog walking at some stage this morning and Zumba is back tonight - woo hoo 😁
Tonight's dinner is sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry left over from Monday.
Must make time to finalise tomorrow's Mr M order and make sure all the heavy stuff is on there.
It should be another NSD as I won't be passing Lid! on the way home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Morning all.
WFH again today. Just waiting for my Mr M delivery, think they'll need a whole van just for my stuff 😆 Goodness knows where I'm going to put it all! Budget wise I'm classing it as next week's and the week after. Will pick up fresh stuff from Lid! tomorrow on the way home from work and the last couple of bits from Mr T on Saturday then that should be it apart from milk and bread as and when needed.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, GFWR day 19, Yogilates at lunchtime and Zumba tonight. As I've managed to fit in the GFWR at an average of 20 minutes a day, there is no reason why I can't fit in a yoga challenge next month, no doubt there'll be plenty around.
Not sure about tonight's dinner yet but will probably be a stir fry as I have loads of bits of veg could do with using up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That's a great idea about classing the food budget as next week and the week after. I'm going to follow suit because it helps me recalibrate my weekly spends. I think my gift spending frenzy is very nearly over. My spare room is like Santa's grotto but I suppose that's the joy of having 13 grandchildren!3

Forgot to say Mr SA found our last remaining fish dead in the pond yesterday. It was a huge black fish who everyone called Jaws. It was at least 20 years old. We inherited it from an elderly neighbour about 20 years ago and no idea how old it was then. At least we’ll be able to empty the pond and give it a good clean before spring without upsetting the fish. I think we’ll keep it as a wildlife pond now and not bother with more fish.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning all, happy Friday. Final working day of the year for me.
In the office today but only doing a short day. Sat by the window on the 6th floor looking at the most amazing sunrise.
Mr SA is meeting me outside Lid! on his scooter as I need to pick a few fresh things up including the cheap veg so might have a heavy bag.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and GFWR day 20. Tonight's dinner will involve the bit of lentil stew I found lurking at the back of the fridge this morning, might make it into a bolognese.
It's DS's 40th birthday today, I can't believe I have a 40 year old son!! Most of my friends my age have kids still in their 20s.
Looking forward to having a nice soak in the bath later and putting my feet up with a festive G&T tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
