Happy December 🎄
Another weekend has flown by.Sorted out the payday finances this morning 2 days late 😆 Paid off the cc balance and sent £200 to the Nwide regular saver. Still need to feed the other two regular savers, will do that tomorrow. Sinking funds amounts transferred to the savings account.Took another load of donations to the CS on the way to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling. The dog got a decent walk out of the trip. There was a football match on the park so she had a street walk instead.Put the Christmas decorations up, took almost 2 hours but I was cleaning at the same time. Some things have gone in the charity bag as yet again I didn’t want to put them out. This is the first year in a long time I don’t have an advent calendar. I just didn’t want any on offer this year. I bought a cheap Yankee candle one ages ago but that doesn’t count as it’s for the house 😆
However I have started Get Fit with Rick’s advent calendar challenge and will be doing one workout a day on top of my usual exercise routine. Really enjoyed today’s. Did a nice stretching session afterwards from the FitOn app before soaking in the bath.Tonight’s dinner was salmon stir fry. Made a batch of carrot and lentil soup a recipe from the new PON book for work lunches.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

That's Monday done. Worked in the office until just after lunchtime then finished the final hour from home.
Monday finance check done. Nothing to pay off cc as everything is still pending. £200 sent to 6 months regular saver and £250 sent to the other regular saver.
Stopped off a Lid! on the way home, spent £10.18 so have already qualified for the free sweet bakery item, that's a muffin for Mr SA sorted.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work and about to tackle day 2 of Rick's advent challenge followed by a short stretching session from the FitBit app.
Tonight's dinner is trying another recipe from the new PON book, black bean stew. Was going to make this yesterday but fancied a stir fry instead.
When DD had a bedroom clear out prior to the refurb, she discovered several bottles of wine given to her as gifts. As she doesn't drink anymore she gave them to me but they were sweet ones which I don't drink so they've been languishing in a cupboard. Finally got rid of them today as someone at work is collecting donations for raffle prizes. More decluttering done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Very few things are more satisfying than decluttering and doing a good deed at the same time, excellent work1

Forgot to add more money news - another £100 overpayment to the mortgage gone today plus claimed my free 🐙 coffee this morning.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all.
WFH today so nice leisurely coffee and book time first thing.
Mr M delivery not arriving until 11-ish as there weren't any available slots until 11. Mr SA won't be very happy as there are only 2 slices of bread left for his toast. I totally forgot about the later delivery or I would've picked one up from Lid! yesterday. I don't think he'll starve 😄
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime, Rick day 3 and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is another new recipe spicy aubergine and tomato pasta with chilli and parmesan. This recipe is one I cut out of a magazine, can't remember which one.
Need to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean later and all the furries need their flea treatment as I forgot at the weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Pretty sure Mr SA won't be wasting away "only" having two slices of toast!

DD has managed to get Mr SA the elusive Lynx set from Asd@ and also picked some up for her workmates who were struggling to get hold of them. He'll be a happy bunny on Christmas Day.
The aubergine recipe is a Jamie Oliver one from a Mr T magazine.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
