Morning all, happy Thursday.
WFH and the final day of the working week for me. Also payday eve.
Really looking forward to my day off shopping tomorrow. Not that I have a lot to get as I've bought most of it but it will be lovely to go for a coffee then wander round the shops at leisure. I might even treat myself to lunch out. As far as Mr SA is concerned I'm going to work. I can hide my rucksack under my desk. I've already told him I'm finishing work early to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
I'm going to go to Lid! in a bit before my morning meetings start. I don't want to be stopping off there tomorrow and I need to use my free frozen potato products voucher before it expires tomorrow. I had a very small Mr M delivery at 6am mainly because Mr SA's beer is on offer and you're not allowed more than one crate per order which is crazy as I could go in store and pick up more than that. So I split my order into two smaller ones. It's worked out quite well as I'm doing the Christmas Saver £45 off and I can see how much more I need to spend to hit the target. Also I can leave the fresh stuff for the weekend until the Thursday delivery. I ordered a big sack of potatoes as these are much better value than buying the smaller packs and they look to be pretty decent ones.
Today's exercise is walking to/from Lid!, Pilates at lunchtime and strength training at 5.30 instead of Zumba. I think the Zumba instructor is back next week thank goodness, I've really missed her classes.
Tonight's dinner is a leftover portion of the PON yellow split pea and sweet potato curry I made on Tuesday.
Need to do a quick pre-payday finance check later. Also research phones - I see there's a piece about mobile phones and sims in this week's MSE weekly email so will look at in more detail. I checked and my current phone stopped being supported in September so that's why it's no longer updated to the latest IOS.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I've pretty much decided that my next phone will come from B@ckmarket I think SA - same when I come to replace the iPad as well, I think.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I was about to suggest Backmarket. My son's GF had her phone stolen on a night out, and my OH needed an upgrade as his was starting to creak - they both got Google Pixels barely 12 months old, great value and are very happy. For SIMs we tend to use SMARTY or GiffGaff but it pays to check what their coverage is like in your area.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

We all use giffgaff and have done for years, I like I can change how much data I have monthly, or not choose any if that suits 😀Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I'll pop a vote in for Spusu for anyone wanting a more cost effective SIM on the EE network. I'm currently paying a shade under £10 a month for unlimited/unlimited/30gb which I'm happy enough with - they may have cheaper options for less data too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you all. I'm with O2, was previously with Tesco Mobile who use O2. O2 is the best coverage in my area. They are doing some good sim only deals at the moment so will give them a call when I've finally decided where to buy my phone from. B@ckmarket is actually on my shortlist so good to hear others have used them.
Mr SA has just added another watch to the new battery pile so I have 2 to take tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
