I was surprised how nice some of the M&S fragrances are. Tested their fig one recently & loved it. V much more affordable than the big beauty brands which have really reached silly money.

Morning all, thanks for your comments.
In the office today, hoping to leave early afternoon to finish up at home.
Got soaked walking to work. At least I know my waterproof boots really are waterproof.
Need to do a bit more research on the phone but have narrowed it down to 3 sites. I'd also like to upgrade my sim as I'd prefer a bit more data. This will be the first time I've bought a phone outright, I usually go for one on contract then use it for as many years as I can after the contract is up.
I have a few bottles of perfume on the go at any one time but I do love my Coco M. It's rarely on offer but is discounted at the moment plus £10 of advantage points. It's very much a Christmas/birthday present perfume and a small bottle generally lasts me all year.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and a bums & tums session at 6 as the Zumba instructor is still off sick.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of Spanish chickpea stew leftover from Monday.

No shame in just sticking with a perfume you know works for you I'd say. I have been stuck in a loop for a good while now of each tie I find one I love it then gets discontinued - I've got bottles of three on the go at the moment which fall into that model!
Avon used to do some cracking fragrances which were smell-a-likes for the big-ticket brands - I loved the one that smelled like Thierry Mugler's "Angel". The main difference usually I seem to recall is that they just don't last as well as the "posh" ones.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I bought my phone from JLewis last year. They had a great offer at the time and gave cash back on an old phone….i got my sym from L@b@ra, and I’ve been very pleased with them…..including the £40 M&S voucher I’ve only just used as I’d forgotten about it. It’s worked well for me.
Hope Mr S doesn’t have too much of a pester list to compete with the phone.January spends - £587.582 -
I find perfume usually smells horrible on me. I have only ever found one I like and unfortunately it is not cheap. I only buy theeau de toilette and even that costs between £80 &120.
Consequently I rarely use it.

I ended up staying a full day in the office and didn’t get a proper lunch break again! The perfume sets I ordered from MnS were ready to collect so picked them up on the way home. I didn’t realise how heavy they were as the bags looked smaller online. They look brilliant, I’d certainly be happy with one so I hope DD and DIL think the same. It’s a shame they’re not doing a male version as Mr SA would love it.Did a quick pre-payday finances check and sent an oddment of £6.40 to the Christmas pot. I need to close this off on Friday and start next year’s pot. There’s already a fair bit to come out of it now I’ve started buying presents. There are a few things budgeted for I’m not buying this year as not needed/wanted like the MnS beauty advent calendar so there should be a decent surplus to cover the odd meal/drink out. I’ve got quite a few events coming up and have realised next week is my last full week at work this year 🥳
Mr SA has already come up with a pester. He wants a new battery for the expensive watch he treated himself to when he got an inheritance from his mum 22 years ago. He never actually wears this watch it just languishes in a drawer until the battery runs out when out it comes again for a new battery 😐 Along with all his other watches I might add 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
