Glad you got back safely. We have decided not to go out today. Very windy here and keeps raining. I've done 30 mins on treadmill and then persuaded DH to do the same. I'll do an online class in a bit and some weights as well. Dh is now upstairs on his computer sorting insurance for his new bike, and I am just going to have 30 mins doing a puzzle and then make a plum, apple & pear crumble. might also pop into garden to put some bird food out. Could do with a breath of fresh air.

I walked through the Xmas market in our nearest city the other day. Was looking at the food prices, £5 for a sausage roll, £4 for a cupcake. I know they are handmade but seriously how do they get to these prices. I definitely wouldn’t pay those prices, even if it’s Xmas.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

I feel for them. I spoke to a stall who was being charged extortionate rates so had to be expensive. I'm another that wouldn't pay that thoughSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

The market is at a local park that has a small nursery attached and the stall holders are local small businesses but still expensive. There’s a big Christmas market in the city centre which is extortionate but as I walk through it twice a day when I’m working in the office it doesn’t really interest me.Watching Take That on BBC and forgot how young they used to look 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

@Sun_Addict I don't know which lynx set you are hoping to buy but one in boots was half price yesterday. Maybe have a look online to see if it's the right one/price is right2

I’ve had a really productive day.Took advantage of the 🐙 2 hours free electricity at 7am. Did a load of washing, then a load of drying. The dryer hadn’t finished by the 9am but stopped it anyway. It was about dry and it had only been in 45 minutes so will remember to stop it earlier next time I use it. Roasted a squash with red onions and red peppers and put a portion to one side for tonight’s butternut squash risotto, the rest went into the soup maker so that’s next week’s work lunches sorted. Charged up my phone and tablet.Took the dog on the park when it stopped raining. It has been quite mild today in fact the heating has switched itself off. After lunch gave the kitchen and bathroom a good clean while Mr SA had his siesta.Did some ironing. Steam mopped all the floors.Wrote up next week’s meal and exercise plans.Took everything out of the cupboard under the stairs, put everything back tidily and left the Christmas decorations boxes out as I plan to put them up next Sunday. I can’t believe how many boxes of decorations there are! While I was doing this Mr SA was trying on a coat he’d found instead of helping 😐
Looking forward to a long soak in the bath later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I also took advantage of it. Two lots of washing and then dried a load too.

Just like @beanielou, I wouldn't normally get much benefit from free electricity at that time on a Sunday morning (other than boiling the kettle) but we got up early to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix which started at 6am. Did 2 loads of washing, dishwasher on and made a rice pudding which we had for breakfast with left over pineapple in rum and lime syrup. A very decadent breakfast 😋6
