I had a very successful day. Got Mr SA a couple of presents B00ts star gift men’s Ted Baker smellies and a lovely bracelet from TK Maxx. Got my Coco M on discount then got £10 of points. I bought some No7 and got £10 off and a free compact and another £10 off voucher which I used to buy an eyeliner and eyelash primer, another free compact and another £10 off. Now got almost £50 in advantage card points. Made sure I got my Coco M gift wrapped to save me wrapping it for Mr SA.I always use mascara primer as it really makes a difference. I’ve had several people ask if my eyelashes are real. Years ago I used to coat them with face powder before applying mascara which earned me the nickname Bambi 🤣Got an all day bus ticket and went to Asd@ again but still out of stock of the lynx, given up with that now. Even the B00ts lynx set shelf was empty. Why has everyone gone mad on lynx 🤷♀️
The city centre wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be and there were very few Black Friday sales. I think it must be mostly online.
Even got a good deal for lunch vegan burger and sweet potato fries plus a glass of wine for £11.50. I couldn’t eat it all, I wasn’t as hungry as I thought I was, eyes bigger than my belly as my mom used to say 😆 Ended up getting extra wine as the bottle was almost empty and she said I might as well finish it off 🙂
Mr SA is happy because he now has two working watches. It’s been a lovely day today sunny and mild. What a change from yesterday’s frost.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
So glad you had a good day. I fancy going off somewhere for a day by myself, for a wander. But not sure where to go. Don't like the city centres, but there is a nice market town about 20 miles from here that I like....lots of nice, posh CSs and some independent shops. Means an inconvenient train with a connection or drive and pay to park...decisions. Might have a think about itMaking the debt go down and savings go up

What a fab day!
Apparently 90s scents are very in at the moment with the young people and lynx is very 90s so they've probably all been bought as gifts for twenty-somethingshttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

That sounds like a super day!
DD and I are off on our annual Christmas shopping day tomorrow. We don't seem to buy a lot but we eat out, talk a lot and have a lovely time. Part of the fun is seeing the city Christmas decorations.
Nice that Mr SA has his two working watches.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Aw Cherryfudge that brings back memories of what me and my mum did before she passed away. She packed in smoking and put the money aside and twice a year we would go out shopping but spent most of the time just eating and talking. Miss those days.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.005
