    There is a measurement whereby a raised paving stone can be used for a claim. I don't know what it is but I suspect you would need to have broken a bone for a claim to be successful though. 
    It really does shake you up so be kind to yourself for the next day or two. I how your sore places are better soon.

    Hope you are not feeling too sore today SA. I worked with a colleague who years ago was crossing the road to catch the bus when she tripped up. As she had both hands in the pockets of her coat to keep them warm, she couldn’t get them out in time and fell on her elbows and smacked her face. Ended up with a very bruised face and two broken elbows.  She always told everybody after that to only walk with one hand in a coat pocket or better still use gloves and don’t put hands in pockets.x

    I hope you feel better soon, and your quietness today is only because you're busy. Perhaps report the paving to the Council, because they can't do anything if they don't know there's a problem.
