Morning all, thank you for your congratulations on the award 😊
Slept like a log last night and didn't wake up until 5am.
WFH today, got three interviews to do, will test out the wifi extender that's for sure! It seems fine so I don't know why I'm stressing about it. I'll be glad when these interviews are done, I don't think I'll volunteer for the next lot.
I have a jam packed working day with very few breaks in between meetings so doubt very much I'll get chance to go to the park with Mr SA and the dog. I will be doing my usual Thursday lunchtime stretch & tone class and there is a Zumba session at 5.30.
Tonight's dinner is air fried salmon with stir fried veg. I won't have time to faff about as the last interview doesn't finish until 5pm then it's Zumba at 5.30. If anyone is looking for new recipe ideas, I recently signed up to receive emails from Taming Twins. The recipes are aimed at families but obviously can be adapted and they are all quick no fuss recipes.

I used to enjoy interviewing, but it's really tiring. I think it's because of the full-on concentration required to remain focused so as to give each candidate a fair shot.
Well done on your award.

Oh well done on the award SA - how typical that the ceremony you couldn't go to was the one you won at though!

Morning all, thank goodness it's Friday.
Working in the office today, thankfully no interviews, back to back meetings though. I'm going to finish no later than 12.30 as I'm having my nails and eyebrows done this afternoon and I also need to stop off at Lid! on the way.
Money wise have paid off the cc balance and sent £900 to the emergency fund.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work.
Looking forward to having a nice long soak in the bath later then putting my feet up with a glass of red. No doubt I'll be asleep by 8.30 I'm absolutely shattered 😆

Oh my days can you believe I fell over a raised paving stone in the city centre on the way home and fell flat on my face 😞 I couldn’t stop myself from falling and the heavy backpack with my work stuff in must’ve shifted my centre of gravity. I hurt my arm and leg and grazed my hand. It really shook me up but I managed to get up, dust myself off and continue on to Lid!. Thankfully only sore and bruised, nothing broken. Blooming council for not maintaining their pavements 😡 It’s that time of year again where I’m not safe to leave the house 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Oh no, hope you are ok. When that happened to my MIL, FIL took photos and tried to get compensation by saying it was an accident that wasn't her fault....of course they never got anything. When I fell and broke my wrist last year, I also had a backpack on and it made me fall backwards as I slipped. You are lucky nothing is broken. Have a good soak in the bath and a rest. I hate this time of year when the leaves are all wet and slippy.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Oh SA , please no broken bones this year, hope you are ok. Well done on your award , well deserved.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Oh no, it really does shake you up, doesn't it? I did the same a couple of years ago. You get to a certain angle after the trip & realise the only outcome is hitting the concrete. It's embarrassing too. I think that hot bath will be a very good thing as you may well have sore muscles & bruising tomorrow. I know I did, & I've got loads more padding than you.
Take care,
