Oh well done. Its nice when your hard work is rewarded. My DD got nominated for a work award a while back, in her 1st year with the company. Didn't win, but still got a bottle of prosecco and has won employee of the month a couple of times. Never used to do things like that when I was at work.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Sun_Addict said:Just a quickie as I'm between interviews. I've only gone and won a work award 😁 Some of you may recall I got through to the finals of 2 sets of awards, one ceremony was in London a few weeks ago and I didn't win. I couldn't make it to this ceremony as it would've required an overnight stay and a very long train journey. I've just got a message saying I've won my category. I won't get a prize but it's still nice to win.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Apparently there is a trophy winging its way to me 🙂 It’s just nice to be recognised and appreciated.Recently I had to review something at work and confirm when done. The response reminded me I would need to repeat the review in 3 years. Was quite scary to think I won’t be reviewing it again because I’ll be retired!Ended up catching the bus home as I didn’t leave work until after 5pm and I had a fair bit of shopping to carry. The office was so empty at that time that some of the lights had gone off. It felt a lot later than it was. It was a long day as I got there just after 7am.Glad I’m WFH tomorrow, back to back interviews and meetings all day so will be pretty full on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

That's a long day indeed, especially with shopping to carry.
Of course Mr SA could put up a shelf for your trophy... ()
