Oh dear……flooded garden isn’t the best….at least it was the hose outside and not a tap inside eh forgot to turn off😱
Glad you’re enjoying getting into the office. A relative of mine hasn’t been back other than meetings that take about an hour since covid. I think the lack of company is beginning to get to them .January spends - £587.582 -
Morning all, happy Tuesday.
A lovely sunny day so have a load of washing in the machine to hang out when it's done.
WFH today. Mr M delivery has been and all packed away.
Tuesdays is the day I have time to catch up a bit with me gaining an extra 2 hours by not having to walk to/from work. So the plan for those 2 hours are:
Housework - give the bathroom a good clean, vacuum upstairs and ironing
Garden task - cut the grass and trim the shrubs
Other - some Spanish learning and keep an eye out for surveys
Cooking - use up the bananas DD brought back to make yet more banana loaf
I need to start thinking about getting out my autumn/winter clothes and putting away the spring/summer ones. I'm on the lookout for some storage bags as the ones I currently have are too big and I end up battling trying to fit them in the storage shelves at the top of the wardrobes. I think I've spotted just what I need on Am@zon but need to check measurements first. The annoying thing is that I have a tape measure that I keep in my desk drawer for such purposes and it's disappeared. I suspect Mr SA as he's got a thing about me having a tape measure as he classes it as tools and as such it should be his and not in the hands of a female! He thinks he might have put it in the shed.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie chilli from freezer stocks with a baked potato and salad.
Today's exercise plan is take the dog on the park later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight. Last night I did a 20 minutes beginners yoga session from The Body Coach on YT which was a lovely way to stretch out before jumping in the bath. Really need to fit in more of this sort of activity.

Well you’ll all be pleased to know my tape measure has been found safe and well amongst Mr SA’s tools. It’s now back where it belongs in my desk drawer. Measurements of storage bags checked and have now been ordered. Two banana loaves made at lunchtime. Only 2 bananas left now so not enough to dehydrate @Debsnewbudget but thanks for the reminder of that function on the Ninja.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
